We loved the location. The room, the patio and view, the pool, and the entire property were beautiful. It was a very friendly and easy check-in. We arrived on a Saturday and checked out on Monday. Although there was a "no vacancy" sign posted, it was very peaceful and quiet.

Quiet and quaint, located over looking the lake and hills. Beautiful to wake up and see the sunrise. Little kitchen area with sink, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Bed clean and comfortable.

the host was just lovely, she was extremely accommodating, supplying us with plastic cups for my toddlers, providing bigger pots and a fire pit. she made us feel right at home. the perfect place to get away. can’t say enough good things about it.

The non contact check in/ was very easy and well-organised while received guidelines in advance which were clear and to the point.
However, the room was very dirty, bed linens were not fresh and clean as well the entire room. Needs a thorough deep spring cleaning as soon as possible. The place is very, very very dirty.

It was super hot and desert like, the lake was dried up to half its size and didn't look healthy to swim. Should be renamed to witch brew lake or something. I heard it would get back to its bigger size in a year or two, might be good to check. But being close to the Kern river the other options for day trips are really good

good for a short trip and if you like fishing/camping too.
