Loved my stay at The Graduate - the reception staff were all very kind and helpful. As I'm writing this about a month later, I forget their name but one of them was exceptionally so and she gave me, I believe, 4 sides of A4 of ideas/sights to check out in Seattle (which were all fantastic and really made me feel like I got the most out of my visit!). There is an excellent coffee shop connected to the building via the lobby and the subway/metro is practically just across the street so it was no trouble at all getting to the hotel in the first place from the airport and then later reaching the train station or heading into the city proper. The room was decorated in a really cool way and had everything I needed personally.
The University of Washington is a half mile from this Seattle hotel, which features a fitness centre. A 55" flat screen TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi are included in every room.

We booked a double queen room that was very large. They offer complimentary breakfast and laundry which we used a lot as our stay was extended a week. Front desk staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating.

I paid two amounts for this hosting, I can know why, because in the app the total amount was 66.93 and I was charged another amount of 50.00 dollars. My account was deducted 116.93 for one night, and unfortunately it was not a good choice.

Kirkland WA is a small lake front town similar to some in New England. It lacks the hustle of Seattle and less commercial than Bellevue. It's a quiet restful location. There is access to shopping and local interests like the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Boating of all types available on Lake Washington.

I wasn't here for a vacation.
I wasn't here for a vacation. There are several great places to eat in Kirkland as well as places to walk. There is a walking trail that follows an old dinner train track route. It is a gravel/paved trail and is several miles long. If you're a walker, it is worth checking out. It goes through the large Google campus. If you like Greek food, George's, in downtown Kirkland is great.

Public Art, Picnic Areas, sandy Beaches, Virtually no crime, activity courts for tennis and volleyball, waterfront access and lifeguarded swimming beaches (that is when its open to swimming)
The fact that starbucks and other places to enjoy your food is close by within walking distance and the playground for children of all ages is a bonus for sure.

We would not by choice visit any spot in the Kirkland/Seattle area again. Residents and employees were generally fearful (Covid I suppose), sullen, anti-social and generally seemed to wish we were not there. (We soon wished we were not there also!)
A very bad place to visit if you are from a sane and hospitable area of the country.

Moss Bay Area if Kirkland is a fun area to walk along the waterfront, enjoy a wide variety of restaurants - (there’s something for every palate!) and window shopping. I found this great boutique that had beartiful shoes and clothing, Sur La Table is great to browse through and so much more.
We’ll located right in the heart of Kirkland. Good restaurant at the hotel. Walkable to a couple cool bars for after dinner enjoyment. We brought our bikes and rode 50 miles around lake Washington on day 2. Then enjoyed well deserved beers on our balcony! What more could you ask for? Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Go with valet parking bc not much street parking and only $24/d. Then you can access your car any time you need it.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They also let me check in early, which was awesome considering it was a 90+ degree day and I had my dog with me so couldn’t go hang out in a restaurant or something. The free Internet worked okay on weekdays before 6 pm. It was sufficient for me to work from my room, but probably not robust enough for streaming. The pool was open, which is uncommon at hotels these days.
The breakfast, if there was even a breakfast, was confusing. There was a sign on the door of the breakfast room, that said there would be a bagged breakfast or something in the lobby. There wasn't anything in lobby. And when I checked out, nothing was mentioned to me about where breakfast might be.
Breakfast was actually the reason I chose this hotel over another and it didn't happen, so very disappointed.
Location couldnt be more perfect- weather was amazing- great restaurants around hotel- views off water- and the staff was amazing- will be back again and again!
