The hotels whole system was down and we couldn’t use credit card to buy any thing at the hotel, we also couldn’t get any room keys and had to find a staff member to unlock our room every time we wanted to access our room. Then they closed down our lobby so I had to walk next door to another hotel to find a staff member to unlock the door. Our room smelled like mold and it was over all an horrible experience for our spring break.
Booking.com never returned my phone call as promised and I will never use them again.

Key West is a gem of an island in the Florida Keys, popular with pleasure seekers and history buffs alike. As the most southern destination in the continental United States, Key West has a fascinating history, dating back to its settlement by Spanish explorers in the 16th century.
Today this little island off the coast of Florida attracts over a million cruise visitors a year through the Port of Key West. Visitors come to see Hemingway House, where Ernest Hemingway penned ‘A Farewell to Arms’. Key West Cemetery provides a unique walk through the multicultural past of the city. There are also trolley rides through the historic district of Jackson Square.
There’s more than just history to Key West, however. Smathers Beach is a place to have fun in the sun, while Mallory Square provides the chance to shop and watch a magnificent sunset. The excellent bus system helps you get around the island without a car.
Key West International Airport is a mere 6 kilometres to Duval Street, the heart of the city centre and a good place to stay for easily exploring the nearby sites. With accommodation ranging from resorts to B&Bs, Booking.com helps you get the best stay for the best price in Key West!
Loved the culture and friendliness of the people.
Bicycles were great to get around on.
Best activity was the sea plane to the Dry Tortugas. A little pricey, but so well worth it! Highly recommend.

Key West is gorgeous and rich with history.
Key West is gorgeous and rich with history. I would call it less of a conventional beach town, as the beaches are sparse and man made because of the whole island thing. If you love the water then this is the place. Boats, jet skis, snorkeling and more are all available for you to enjoy and Duval Street is full of shopping, restaurants and bars. There are some very unique vendors with one of a kind items and lots of art appreciation from the locals. The beach stores are a little over priced on some of their beach wares, which is typical, but there is no shortage of cute and original boutiques. Rent a scooter or a golf cart when you get there. It is the best way to travel while you are there.

There are so many things to do in Key West.
There are so many things to do in Key West. Tons of historic sites, great beaches and views, and obviously Duval Street. Definitely check out taking a day trip to Dry Tortugas to see the National Park and do some snorkeling!!! Memorable sunsets at Mallory Square. We definitely will be back, as we ran out of time to cover it all.

Sun, fun and oh so much to see, do and eat!
Sun, fun and oh so much to see, do and eat! We enjoyed Duval Street and all it had to offer. We ate at Seaside Cafe (my favorite was lobster pizza and the Mojiots). We took the ferry to Latitudes on Sunset Key, it was absolutely amazing. The food and the ambiance was phenomenal. Please be advised, reservations well in advance are required. We visited all the hot spots for drinks and entertainment. We loved breakfast at TwoFriends and Big Cheezies. You can walk or ride bikes all over. We did not rent a car but did rent a golf cart one day. That was fun and we felt safe the entire time.

Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit. We really enjoyed the tours we took. A great place to eat was Rams Head Southernmost restaurant. Very generous portions and a great atmosphere. Pizza Joe's also had really good pizza by the slice. We found the best way to get around was to use Uber or walking. There is no parking and the traffic is very heavy. We drove to Key West but next time we would fly in and use Uber to get around.
The location is fantastic, very close to Duval Street and to everything old town Key West. Can't beat that. The architecture is nice, typical Key West style. Jacuzzi and pool are open 24 hours. Breakfast sin't mind-blowing, but sufficient. Coffee, tea and water are available all day until 10pm which is when the front desk closes. Rooms are spacious, even the small one is bigger than typical European hotel rooms. There's a Happy Hour every day from 5-7pm with free wine, cheese, and nuts.
If you're looking for quiet luxury in Key West, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The suites are large, comfortable, and tastefully designed. We booked a room with a private pool, which was the perfect spot to hang out in the evening. We also appreciated all the extras, like the welcome drink, turn-down cupcakes, and all the shared spaces. They also surprised us with a bottle of bubbly and balloons since we were celebrating birthdays. I wish we could have stayed more than one night!
There are several pools and a hot tub, all of them are great. There is also a bar with quite cheap drinks that you can get at any time during the day. Breakfast is good and the room (6-bed room) pretty big with comfortable bunk beads, as well as a fridge. You can also book different activities (e.g. snorkel tour) directly at the hostel. Definitely, one of the best value for money options in Key West.
Clean and comfy rooms. Beautiful clean and spacious pool. Plenty of lounge chairs for all. Loved the convenient poolside bar. Continental breakfast is an awesome perk. Staff was friendly and courteous. Price also seemed fair considering your in Key West, definitely the best bang for out buck! One of the best hotels I've stayed at, hands down.
The Parrot Key is a super base for visits to Old Town, beaches and historic site. The Hotel/Villas are in exceptional conditions, clean quiet and with fabulous views over the Gulf and the Sunset. The Pools are perfectly located. The outdoor breakfeast restaurant is simply great. Very high value for money in the Key West area.
Most importantly, the hotel is clean. It is in a good location to go to Key West attractions. It also has a nice outdoor bar/liquor store and an ice cream/donut stand. The staff were nice. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but the continental breakfast did look good. The muffins appeared to be homemade.
It’s a lovely, cosy, romantic little hotel. In the middle of Downtown Key west. The garden is an urban jungle, the breakfast was exactly what we were expecting. We had an amazing stay. Also the personal was very helpful regarding restaurants, parking and the neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend.
We loved the room, the view, staff, and layout/design of the place! The backyard with the palm trees and pool was exactly what we envisioned! Perfect resort vibe in Key West - we also actually met someone who has been going to Key West for 35 years and said this is the best hotel/resort in Key West!
Overall, it was fine. No issues. I save my "excellent " rating for high-end hotels, but nothing wrong with this hotel. Seems to be well kept. It's not really walking distance to much, although you could if you like mile + walks. Price wise, it's competitive and nothing in Key West is inexpensive.
Following our recent stay at The Gardens Hotel in Key West, we would like to express our satisfaction with its style, decoration, good taste in every detail, as well as the efficiency and friendlyness of all the staff. We strongly recommend it and hope to visit it again.
The property was very clean and well kept. I personally enjoyed the secluded aspect of this hotel as it was away from all the commotion’s in the heart of key west. Having two pools was nice, and I never once felt like it was overcrowded at all. Absolutely perfect 👌
A quiet hotel in the center of Key West, just around a corner from Duval Street. The rooms give a nice vibe and are decorated lovely. Although the pool is small, the interior area itself gives a feeling of a nice secluded space to relax.
One of the greatest places with ever been to
hotel manager went out of his way to make sure that we enjoy our stay and everything works perfectly
we are sure to return whenever we have a chance to come to Key West
The hotel is nice and was actually a good experience. Everything else in Key West can be reached from there by car, bicycle or on foot. The breakfast was good, staff was nice. WiFi worked well.
This hotel experience was one of the best we have ever had! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. When we return to Key West, we will not stay anywhere else but here.
Nice motel, very clean rooms and fairly spacious. The price was reasonable (for Key West, compared to other hotels in that area). Nice to have breakfast included as well!
