Very good room with all the details you would think of. Nice private beach. Personally I like to use one of the kayaks free of charge and paddle a bit along the bay.

First and foremost — the muffins and frittatas(?) were a huge hit. Easily the best part of the stay. Having fresh from the oven food available in the morning, smelling the muffins from my room. The parking was easily accessible, the walk to the beach through the “gardens” was short but cutely decorated. The hammocks were a nice addition and could hold two people at once. The kayaks were free, the paddle boards weren’t. Most kayaks were two-people kayaks and one was a single person kayak. Caught barracuda and mangrove snapper right on the dock. Noise level was great for a family. No party scene. Easy to relax. The staff was knowledge about the area, recommended great places. All were very friendly.

The only things to do in Key Largo are, Eating, drinking, go on Snorkeling or Scuba Diving tours. When we arrived our 1st stop was at the visitors center where the lady told us that there is not much to to do in Key Largo, no beach, no snorkling from the shoreline unless as she put it "if you want to see rocks and small fish". She was right about that.

Must visit Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory-best pie and nice courtyard, the Turtle Hospital, Robbie's Marina and feed the tarpon, plus rent kayaks explore the mangroves. Eateries; dinner and sunset at Lorelie's, breakfast at Made 2 Order and Harriette's restaurant-get a muffin and biscuit.
I loved our stay at The Pelican Key Largo. Our cottage was a delight with a feeling of privacy. Car parking right outside our door. Spotlessly clean. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine were great. Coffee machine allowed you to just heat water so it was possible to make a cup of tea. Huge comfortable bed with crisp white cotton bedding. The beach was right beside us and we enjoyed a swim. The beach area was well maintained and had beds and chairs to relax on. I highly commend this resort.
This was bit of a random pick; the hotel was nice but had also pricey - though given the season and location not surprising. It was only a one-night stay, so the room location was not important ( i.e. we did not need a nice view); staff was very lovely all round and accommodating. Location is great since it is near John Pennenkamp National Park and - bonus: we got to see manatees which came close to the shore and pet them. Bonus: spoiled the resident kitty!
The apartment was fabulous - beautifully furnished, comfortable and homely. The pool is great, with palm trees and tikis for shade. The lagoon is a little murky, but loads of fish and wonderfully cool for swimming.
The point is stunning to catch the sunset - well worth the few minutes walk, we enjoyed it most evenings.
Key Largo has a number of restaurants and decent shopping facilities within walking distance, although the humidity made walking very sweaty!
Excellent location, well maintained rooms, very clear. Welcoming staff and good breakfasts. Possibility to rent a kayak or a fishing rod, and buy fishing bait directly in the hotel, and a good fishing place just on the beach. A supermarket and some good restaurants in a few minutes away, and good driving times to the Theater of Sea and other attractions nearby. A warm and clean pool. Iguanas and ibises at the territory. USB sockets near the bed.
My expectations were low due to the price was the cheapest i could find in Key Largo. Oh my was i wrong. EVERYTHING was perfect! Smooth check in, no deposit, very clean rooms, beautiful view directly of the water, comfortable beds, perfect little beach with an amazing tiki bar with great drinks and food! Complimentary breakfast which was super good. And At night we saw dolphins from our room door. The stay was perfect! Thanks for a great stay
Had a great location at far end of building on third floor with water on two sides and great views.
Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and open patio near room overlooking the harbor, great for stargazing and enjoyment of local music across the harbor,
We had a Great Horned Owl perched on a platform outside our window.
I was able to find a private spot on the water (no beach) to relax and read in the shade.
We really enjoyed the location with an easy walk to restaurants and the waterway right in back of the hotel. We had fun watching the charter boats filet their catches on the docks near the hotel. We even saw manatees in the waterway. Our kids loved the pool, which is big and had warm water. The room was comfortable even though the rooms are dated. We had a family room with three bedrooms, and it was spacious.
What an absolute gem of a place. The beach front location is stunning. Watching the sunset from the private dock was great. FREE watersports equipment. No Resort Fee like at other hotels. Room large and clean. Could not fault it. The ladies in the reception were friendly, professional and so helpful. Thank you, we had a lovely two night break.
we booked this motel because we like to go fishing from the dock of the motel, we were very disappointed when we were told that they do not allow fishing from the dock or any of their canoes or paddle boats. I have never stayed in anywhere in Key Largo that does not allow guests to go fishing from the property
Fresh baked muffins, individual frittatas, yogurt, fruit, coffee all served outdoors under a tiki hut with tables and chairs by your villa all a short walk from the shore with a great view. It's an old school Florida hotel. Refreshing break from the standard modern hotels.
Beautiful trees and bushes all around, piers to watch the sunrises and sunsets, a small beach to dip into, kayaks to explore on, a guest laundry, parking near our room and restaurants within walking distance made this resort of rustic cottages a bit of paradise for us.
Had an excellent stay with my family in mid June. Beautiful property, amazing pool, amazing ocean front area, very comfortable room. Will definitely stay there again if travelling through Key largo. Would also be a wonderful spot for a small wedding or celebration.
terrible hotel for the price!!! Key largo is simply overpriced. We payed over $400 for the room ( same price as Mandrin hotel in Miami) for 1 night. Dirty floors, terrible pillows, tiny shower, no umbrellas by the beach. Just a run down motel. Will not be back
The location is great!!!. It was close to all attractions we had planned in Key Largo. It's a townhome style hotel with upper and lower levels, so it is specious with 1.5 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are well maintained and clean.
Amazing views of the marina. The pool area was incredible and the whole atmosphere was relaxing. Staff was super friendly and the location is perfect, right up the main road in Key Largo.
Fantastic boutique hotel on Key Largo
