In general the hotel was good. But the main reason one gets a hotel is to sleep away from home. We couldn't sleep. There were kids playing basketball outside our room and the exterior walls did nothing to dampen the noise. I waited from 8PM till 10PM before calling the front desk. Even then the front desk was unwilling to ask the kids to stop playing basketball.

This boutique hotel is within a 15 minute walk to Count Basie Theatre. Guest rooms provide flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi while the on-site restaurant serves contemporary American cuisine.

Location, location, location. The river view was spectacular - sunrise over the river on the one day the weather was nice - and the cantilevered windows were PERFECT for the cold breeze and listening to the storms during most of my stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Red Bank, if you felt like eating off property (the food in the hotel, at Pearl, was excellent - but be prepared for a wait - and wait staff were not particularly good…

Staff was really friendly and attentive, great location right in front of the ocean. We arrived and the check in was incredible, everything was ready for us. Properly was super clean, room with Ocean view and balcony was perfect.

The Best Western Hazlet Inn is located a mile and a half from New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway. Newark Liberty International Airport is 30 minutes away.
