This is a great example of a Red Roof. Seems so new and well done. Very quiet too, its set far back from the highway. The lady that checked us in was very nice and had a calm relaxing demeanour. Big rooms, huge bed.

Only one wash cloth, no ice machine on second floor, ice machine on first floor was broken, no plastic glasses in room, no coffee maker in room, only one bar of soap, shower valve handle fell off, tile floor was sticky in bathroom, shower floor very slippy & no mat or grab bar, breakfast food was tepid at best, only one form of protein (rubbery eggs that looked “fried”), “we out” (not “sorry, but WE’RE out right now”) when asked for jelly, lobby was hot (receptionist had a fan behind the front desk, only about 6 vehicles in lot yet our room was the farthest away on the second floor (after asking for first floor), property did not look inviting or attractive …

It was a pleasant stay in a small college town. Lots of good places to eat. We will be back soon but will not stay at the Marriott Courtyard. We ate at the Yellowbird Cafe, The Mariner's Inn, and the Salty Dog. All I would recommend.

We drove from Atlanta so at the end of a long tiring day we came to a very comfortable, quite and clean home. The interior is so simple and elegant. Relaxed and slept well. Our GPS got confused around the area but when we opened the chateau we had no confusion, everything so beautiful.

The location for us was perfect.
The location for us was perfect. We were there to visit family 2 miles away. Clean and comfortable. I would have liked to have more than 4 glasses and 4 sets of silverware. We had to constantly wash dishes. We had to call for dish towels and something to wash the dishes with. Could have just been an oversight. They could definitely look up at those ceiling fans though. I had to clean them because they were filthy. Some chairs to sit outside would be nice as well. Overall it was nice quiet and comfortable. Would stay again

Hammond is a great place to visit.
Hammond is a great place to visit. It is a LSU campus and has a lively downtown. Younger people who have traveled there with us before said it had the best food of all the places they have been. Many wonderful choices in the downtown area. A relaxing place to visit.

Privacy, quiet and peaceful.
Privacy, quiet and peaceful. It’s more like an apartment right outside city limits. A true homely environment from pulling up two minutes from the interstate. To the two bathroom luxury. It’s a well maintained property that I will visit often!
The gentlemen working the desk was an absolute nightmare to deal with. His level of service was beyond poor and his manners were worse than that. He had no care as to whether or not I got what I need. I should take the the time to complain to the owners of this hotel. He is the type of person that makes you want to turn and leave immediately.
The nice lady at the front desk went above and beyond measure to make sure we where comfortable. She even called our room to make sure everything was fine with our room. We have stayed at some pretty high end hotels and never had this happen. We will definitely be staying here again!

The front desk lady was really nice. My room location was just what I hoped for. The hotel is old so it shows some wear, but my room was very clean and that's what I cared about. Door was hard to open, but that may be user error.
The hotel is a little outdated and could use a touch up on the outside. The breakfast area is a little to spread out. It is easy to overlook and miss what is being offered if the food is spread out everywhere.
I loved everything about this hotel. I’d recommend Suburban Studios to anyone looking to book a hotel. The staff was awesome, the room was awesome even the other guests were awesome! 10/10 stars for me!

The hotel was solid as possible for that side of Hammond. Maybe consider updating the switches and panels. And put an outlet on both sides of the bed lol
