Paia Inn, hotel in Haiku

Facing the beachfront, Paia Inn offers 3-star accommodation in Paia and features a garden, shared lounge and terrace.

This won't be the most appropriate review for the room I booked as I delightfully received a room upgrade upon arrival for my partner & I which was brilliant. I did however look the night before at the Booking site page and saw the room I initially booked was going for much, much less that very night so perhaps I was receiving a room to match the amount I paid. The room we received was brilliant, a large four poster bedroom with large bathroom, and private decking with outdoor futon & seating. The location of Paia Inn is perfect for Maui explorers and even if you don't have a car, the town is full of dining locations, shops and the private access to the beach - though slightly treacherous so not for the faint of heart - was breathtaking. We spotted a colony of turtles on said beach all snoozing ashore and it was a highlight for our trip.

Our experience renting a car with a rooftop tent was absolutely amazing! It gave us the freedom to explore the entire island and sleep in some of the most incredible, breathtaking locations. The car was in excellent condition, and the rooftop tent was super comfortable and easy to set up. The included equipment was perfect for our needs—especially the fridge, which was incredibly useful for keeping food and drinks cool throughout our trip. If you're looking for a flexible and adventurous way to travel, this is the way to go! Highly recommended!

Haiku was quiet, peaceful, much more local feel; The total opposite feel of Kaanapali, which is much busier and more touristy. [We stayed in both areas during our trip.] Near Haiku there are local thrift shops, weekly markets (Swap Meet), and you are surrounded by nature. The weather was fine too. Not too rainy (as was forewarned on multiple sites).

Excellent option on Maui. Would definitely recommend them and will stay again in the future. Studio had everything we were looking for and owners made the transaction and information easy to access. We loved the recommendation they had on the trip to Haleakala and Hana. Lovely village setting in Haiku. Now this may not be everyone taste but if you are looking for something of value and close to Kahului, Pa'ia, then this will be comfortable enough for 2 people.

Stephano and his wife were amazing !! They will be apart of my lifelong memories on a trip to Maui I won’t forget! I was having a bad start to my trip due to popped tire and spare tire also popping ! Stephano and his wife were kind enough to lend me their personal vehicle (mind you they never met me) They really saved my trip from becoming a nightmare! I can’t thank them enough !
