I loved the fact that the beds were so comfortable from the fluffy thick pillows, to the clean white comfortably soft sheets. The fact that the bed was high was awesome as well ❤️🩹.

Had a smoking room which was great since we were on the 3rd floor and didn't have to hike the stairs to go out for a smoke.

There was often no one at the front desk. The coffee maker did not work and the temperature of the water of the shower could not be regulated- it was either very hot or cold.
Lander University is 2 miles from this hotel in Greenwood, South Carolina. The hotel features traditional guest rooms with cable TV and the HBO® movie channel.
My check in started off very rocky. I reserved 2 rooms but when checking in, the rep said he only saw 1 reservation which wasn't true but he eventually found it and blamed it on Booking.com. I told him I had never experienced any issues with booking.com. Not sure how to avoid this in the future but I wasn't happy at all about it....not sure who's fault it was or wasn't but in the future I don't ever want to run into this issue ever again

Greenwood is a little friendly place to visit. We met some good new friends and we had a blast! I will definitely come back! I love staying at the Inn on the Square! It was fantastic! I would recommend anyone to stay here!
Absolutely nothing I tried to get another hotel when I arrive but I was unable to get one right away. After driving for nine to ten hours I was stuck staying at this hotel. I plan to reach out to the Days Inn Corporation with my complaint. This hotel gives the brand a bad name. They did not offer WIFI or Continental breakfast. It was there but was not available to their customers.
The warmth and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. I stay in a lot of hotels with my travel and I won't soon forget this short visit to Greenwood. The breakfast was also exceptional with friendly staff and great food. When I return to Greenwood, I will plan on staying at the Inn on the Square. I first visited this hotel in 1996.
The breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast. We would have liked more options like waffles or different cereals, but with COVID, maybe that is all they could offer. The location was excellent and very quiet. It was convenient to get to shopping and restaurants. Lander University and Greenwood High School were very close.
Over 20 years ago my mother had us stay there when I was a child. An owner once spoke at my high-school in Ninety Six, SC around 20 years ago about the history of the hotel. I always make it a point to stay here. Lots of memories at this hotel for me.
Facility was fantastic. Loved the architecture and finishes of the old grand hotel look. Loved the history of the building and it's relationship to Greenwood. Great food, both the breakfast and the bar. Fantastic, Attentive Staff.
Exceptional hotel. When you enter the lobby you feel at home. Great decoration and relax music at lobby level. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. A place away from home where you can feel home.
Toaster did not work. Juice bar was empty of orange and cranberry juice. Breakfast only place they need to improve. The rest of the hotel was good for price and clean and well kept.
We needed a hotel close to Lander University. So the location for the Inn was excellent. The front counter staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy.
This hotel is a lovely surprise,the interior decor is very different from the chain hotels.It has period character. The staff are very good helpful and friendly.
The location and staff at the hotel are wonderful however the hotel is in desperate need of updating the rooms and facility are old yet are kept clean.
