For this area it was a pretty good affordable option. The hotel was close to the slopes, Aspen and Vale were just an hour drive. We were able to rent skis i the town for much cheaper than what we would pay in Aspen. The town was nice and cozy - had pretty good shops, amenities and (cheap) restaurants with good food. The location of the town is also very convenient - very easy drive from highway.
The hotel had everything you need for a longer stay. Rooms are comfortable, had kitchen, nice tv with Netflix and Youtube, comfortable bed and a big sofa. It was a good place to relax after hitting the slopes. The hotel lobby is very nice and new (it has a fireplace!). There is a firepit outside. We never got to go to the gym, pool or spa but they looked nice when we were walking by.
The staff was extremely nice and friendly.

I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

Should not be charging for open lot parking.
Should not be charging for open lot parking. Should offer at least a continental breakfast. Way too many additional add-on charges. 15% tax in Glenwood Springs (?). The room charge per night apparently, as I was told, varies according to hotel bookings. We were there off season. Room service, minimal clean towels, emptying trash, only occurs after a 2 night stay Really? The staff was the best. Attentive and friendly.

Lovely hotel, centrally located.
Lovely hotel, centrally located. Room had all the facilities one could need. Breakfast was included and was very good. Despite being central and directly on a busy road it was surprisingly quiet.
Highly recommended if in the area or having a session in the Hot Springs!

Very happy with the location. We arrived by train and were on foot, and the hotel was within easy walking distance of the train station, as well as downtown Glenwood Springs and a number of attractions (the tram, the caves, the hot springs). There were plenty of dining options in the area. Staff was great -- pleasant and helpful. Quiet, comfortable room, with the bonus of a fridge and microwave.
Excellent room, facility, breakfast with excellent access to the two large hot spring pools and other tourist interests nearby like Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Hanging Lake, and Doc Holliday's grave at Linwood Cemetary. Also next to the Hotel Colorado which has a wonderful dining room and dinners. Within walking distance of many local restaurants.
The rooms are modernized with laminate flooring and tile. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room and the grounds of the hotel are kept in tip top shape and everything is super clean. Great value and location was great for us as well. It's about 1.5 miles from the hot springs. But, my wife and I like to walk so it worked out perfect.
The property is within walking distance of anything that you might want to do.The amusement park ,hot springs, bike rental ,rafting and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk .Tequilas Mexico restaurant right next to the hotel I highly recommended very reasonable prices and good food
It’s a charming hotel with lots of history. Gréât location and cozy vibe. I love the retro historic vibe. Walking distance to lots of enjoyable activities. Elevator, full amenities, and masked safety protocols followed! One of my favorites hopefully for years to come!
Like everything about the Hotel Denver. The hotel and room were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location couldn't be better - in the heart of the old part of town with lots of great dining, shopping and the hot springs nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Size of room and breakfast was amazing! My family thought I was a genius room finder! All of the extra amenities were great as well. There were fire pits, a sand volleyball court, a play area, horseshoe pit, and a pool with large hot tub and kiddie pool!
Location was key for this enjoyable trip. We walked a two blocks to the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs pool. The tram to the Glenwood Caverns was a short 5 minute walk. We walked 10 minutes to downtown Glenwood Springs. Room was very comfortable.
i loved everything this place is so new and in a great location it is awesome! it was so relaxing and i got in at 12 instead of 4 like i thought i was going to have to wait thank you for all the hard work it takes to have a wonderful hotel
Location is great, Close to downtown, restaurants, gondola and hot springs. They also offers a few deals and discounts to the theme park and hot springs etc. The hotel also have an indoor pool which is really nice.
I loved the history and the charm of hotel Colorado. The courtyard was beautiful and the food was very good. That location cannot be beat. Very close to the Hot Springs, shopping, and tons of restaurants.
