So much better than a “chain” hotel. From the room, hospitality and breakfast, a great experience all around. So convenient to the town square. Highly recommend!

The location is just a block from the square. Lila was a wonderful hostess - we especially loved her delicious breakfasts of hot pancakes, blueberry muffins, and scrambled eggs. The bedrooms were quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The reading room and porch were well appointed. We would definitely return!

The room was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice.
I loved the clean and spacious bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the use of the ceiling fans and air conditioners worked flawlessly. There was a lovely area on the deck for relaxing and the owner took great pride in the care of the facility, her childhood home. The breakfasts she prepared were most delicious! Her kindness and love was the absolute best and it was such an enjoyable, quiet place for some much needed relaxation. I would recommend this place most definitely.

We visited during a severe drought and under a heat dome in late July. We have visited a couple times before in late spring and we loved Glen Rose. The friendly people make the place enjoyable even with the weather obstacles. Our grandkids love it there.
Fossil Rim Wildlife and Dinosaur World are favorites of our family. We really want to visit the Creation useum but they were closed during our stay.

Entry lock on door needs full repair. I had to make three trips to the front desk and still attendent had to come to our room and jiggle the card receiver several time to get it to work. the place is very very outdated. Air conditioner was very loud. Elevator seem to be on its last leg. Attendent said it went out last week.

Glen Rose is a really nice little town.
Glen Rose is a really nice little town. If you like being outside, there's a lot to do and the parks are awesome, with hiking or swimming. I suggest spring or fall are more enjoyable than summer. It can be to hot. There's lots of cute little shops too. I've been twice and will go back.

My daughter and I went to Fossil Rim for the safari tour. It was great and we loved feeding the giraffes! The night before we went to a local establishment and everybody was super friendly! It is a very small and easy-going town.

Stayed less than 24 hours. Good breakfast. Nice pool.
Stayed less than 24 hours. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Could use more tv channels. Quiet for sleeping. Staff could care less. Big Cup restaurant a couple of blocks away was great including for picky eating grandchildren.
Aaron, Manager, makes a great impact on the high level of customer service he maintains in the hotel. We witnessed his remarkable servant leadership among the staff and how that affected morale and team unification. He was welcoming and helpful to us from our arrival, and always made his time spent with us a pleasure. Room was clean and comfortable, and although our circumstances were not what we would have chosen (a tire blow out on our farm trailer) we were able to relax in the comfort and quiet of the hotel.
Perfect location and set-up for family of 5 needing 3 rooms with attached bathrooms. We visited the downtown square in Glen Rose then headed out to Fossil Rim which was only 10 min away for a tour. We loved being able to use the kitchen (microwave, table and fridge) for our happy hour and game playing at night. Cindy (morning.cook) was super sweet and made an excellent breakfast and Melanie the owner was also very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.
Glad they offered a full hot breakfast and the pool was open in these lingering Covid days. The location was perfect for our Glen Rose Girls Weekend (me, Granddaughter, Daughter, and their puppy girl). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from our 3rd floor window was nice, especially as we waited out the thunderstorms rolling through and watched the crazy wind blow the rain sideways in both directions!
Very clean and comfortable accommodations with fun western decor. Surprisingly, very large, country setting but just a short walk to downtown Glen Rose along the river. Property has goats, llama, hiking trails, large pasture with a couple of horses and we saw numerous bunnies and deer.
Location— very close to the Dinosaur State Park, after hiking all day, only about 10 mins drive.
Cleanness— this hotel looks very new, everything in there also very new. The bathroom is very clean.
Staff— very friendly!
