Contactless check in and check out but still plenty of communication with the cottages through text message. Everything was perfect.

Lovely rooms just remodeled, charming and comfortable. Great location in the center of town. Food in the dining room was excellent and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
Nestled in Sonoma County, the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is adjacent to Napa Valley.

Nice staff and there’s a shuttle to the town (which you pay for in an extra fee at checkin so not really a perk or anything, you pay for it whether you use it or not)
Glen Ellen is a very charming little town. The people there are very nice and there are several wineries surrounding the area that our wonderful. My favorite winery is the Wine Snob. Linday and Ryan are very nice and their wine is very good. We also stayed at the Jack London Lodge and went to the Jack London Saloon. Both Erin and Ian are very funny and very personable. We had a very good time there and the food was really good. We also went to Jack London Park and that was beyond expectations. We really enjoyed our time there. This is our second time to Glen Ellen in two years. We will be back for sure.

Small quiet town — not heavily trafficked.
Small quiet town — not heavily trafficked. Visited state park, botanical garden and wineries…all within 15 minutes. Great place to stay, but narrow country roads not great at night. We made sure to be back in town before dark. A couple charming restaurants and a great market, but not a busy shopping town. Beautiful area. Relaxing stay.

A great little town - very similar to a Margaret River in Western Australia feel and one of the best stocked Farmers Market I’ve seen for a small town. Very impressive. A couple of great little restaurants, a cosy pub and a French bakery (boulangerie patisserie) as well as art shops, wine tasting etc.
A good weekend or midweek away.

If you are visiting Glen Ellen, I recommend visiting Jack London State Park for a few hours to learn about the quirky American writer and the very full life he lived with his wife Charmian. Afterwards you can head down the road and have a delicious meal at Yeti, an Indian-Nepalese restaurant. If your tastebuds aren't feeling a thrill for Indian spices there are also plenty of options for American foods as well nearby. As a first-time visitor, getting around the town might be a little confusing as the roads are a bit old and parking needs to expand a little, but many things are within walking distance anyway. The town is very quaint and has great character. It's almost like taking a step back in time but having all the modern comforts. This is a place to slow down and enjoy your surroundings. If you are in town during the morning, be sure to stop by the Garden Court cafe for some coffee and a very tasty breakfast.

I think since the rooms are all a bit different cottages, each cottage number should be listed with it's price and specific photo's so you can choose the room you want if it is available, it was a bit confusing for me when trying to figure out if I wanted a standard or deluxe room, I may have upgraded to the larger room if I could see exactly what that specific unit looked like. That is the reason I did not upgrade, however our room was pleasant, comfortable and welcoming

In the country, ten minutes from the square in Sonoma and all it has to offer. Two minutes from wineries along the Sonoma highway. Excellent restaurants right in Glen Ellen. The drive to Napa wineries is 25 minutes, and another 10 to the Silverado Trail.
A beautifully appointed little cottage with high-quality bedding and towels, lots of pillows. A great jacuzzi tub. Complimentary snacks were a very nice touch. At the back of the tiny property is a seating area with comfy chairs that overlooks a creek. Great outdoor vibe just steps away from your door! It's obvious that the owner of these cottages has put a lot of thought into creating a nice experience for her guests! Convenient location, walking distance to everything in Glen Ellen and easy drive to many vineyards.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It was perfect. A small, beautiful property with a gorgeous patio with olive trees, a pool, and lots of lounge seating. The staff went above and beyond. They serve local wine at happy hour, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious (mango panna cotta and avocado toast with picked onions). Rooms were clean, comfortable, and luxurious. I especially appreciated the eco-friendly touches (reusable cups and mugs, and a free electric vehicle charging station). We will be back!

Very nice staff, excellent two course breakfast, great room with very comfortable beds, great restaurant within walking distance (Glen Ellen Star), pool and hot tub heated, equipped with very comfortable loungers and open 24 hrs, free wine and coffee in the afternoon, nice outdoor lounge area.
It's an expensive stay but so are the most of the hotels in the area. I would highly recommend staying here.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Rooms were beautiful and very spacious. Pool area was beautiful. Wine hour and fresh cookies was a lovely touch. Staff went above and beyond. Lovely location with close restaurants and cafes close by alongside lovely walking trails. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious. Such a relaxing stay for a weekend!
The cottages are situated in Glen Ellen, near Sonoma, where we spent two nights. Although we encountered a toilet issue, Karen promptly addressed and resolved it. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, with a nearby French bakery for breakfast and various restaurants. Despite the busy road, our room remained peaceful and undisturbed.
What a perfect little spot in Glen Ellen. My mom lives in the area and we have driven by numerous times. We had family visiting from Europe and she couldn't fit us all in her house. After searching for a few days we decided to stay here. We will return when lodging is needed in the area!
The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast, afternoon sake and cheese hour were excellent. We really enjoyed the serene quiet, and that our privacy prioritized. The decorum of the room made us feel like we were back in a real Ryokan in Japan.
Chickens, cows, personnel staff , view and garden and superb location, romantic place of comfort. Thank you. please let us know when is least expensive room rates lowest rate of months during year to stay at Beltane Ranch. Thanks, Violet Espiritu
We arrived late but they left clear instructions how to find the keys and the house.
We lost a camera on the premise and only realized it after we left. When we asked the hotel, they told me they found the camera and agreed to mail it back to us.
The location was perfect - about 25 min. drive to Sonoma Square Plaza, 5 min. drive to Jack London State Histroic Park, and, within walking distance to a cute French bakery and a popular restaurant - Glen Ellen Star. The room was clean and basic.
The Glen Ellen Inn Secret Cottages are absolutely lovely! The owners have done a charming job with the decor both on the interior & exterior. The atmosphere is truly enchanting, & the attention to detail was impressive. We loved staying there!
Hotel was excellent - the location was perfect, the grounds were clean and beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic. We really loved every minute and will definitely be back.
