Gardiner is a very small town and completely tourist related. Not enough restaurants, though we were a bit after "season". Hotel was really good. Gardiner is convenient to the north side of Yellowstone. The NE entrance is closer to Lamar Valley but the town there is even smaller

Sleepy country town located at the North Yellowstone entrance. Great for access to northen areas for wildlife sightings. Bison, Bear, Wolf, Coyote, Elk everywhere. Food varieties are somewhat limited. Mostly American fare, quite pricey and not that great. For relaxation, I highly recommend Yellowstone Hot Springs a few miles out of town. Inexpensive and a class act!

The views were beautiful! Our room was great. We met many friendly people there. Mostly its location just outside Yellowstone NP made this a wonderful place for our vacation. There were tons of shops and restaurants but we didn't have time to stay because we were travelling to Yellowstone.

We loved the location, the scenery, and the size of the cabin. Having 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was wonderful! The light bulbs in the majority of the home could be a little brighter as it was difficult to read in the late afternoon and evening. Adding TV's in at least two of the bedrooms would be a big plus so we all didn't have to watch the same TV program. The picture of the home on the website showed a telescope on the front deck, but it wasn't there when we arrived. I could have used the telescope to see the beautiful stars at night, and the wildlife on the ridge of the mountains.

I loved the hot springs. Also close to Yellowstone Park, which I explored some. I've been to the area many times and only live a couple of hours away in Idaho, but occasionally it is nice to stay there.

Our visit was just overnight, but the time we had there and the slow drive through town made us wish we had a least an extra few days to stay in town. Plenty of outdoor activities and a charming town to explore as well.

Great and very helpful staff! Chris went out of his way to help us, for example by bringing a small fridge into our room in no time. The rooms were clean, big and well equipped. Gardiner is just a few minutes from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, so location is great as well. We enjoyed our breakfast very much, there was free parking and the bar upstairs is really unique with friendly employees as well. The place even had a game room with free board and arcade games.

I love the place. It is not just the cabin, the whole property was breathtaking. Wildlife you see from the cabin is amazing, you can go near them(with same distance ofcourse) and take pictures. The price is very affordable as well, very close to the Park. It is a perfect place, will definitely stay again when we visit the park.

The location was great. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops and a short drive to the entrance of Yellowstone NP. Nice mountain view outside. Got great use out of the washer and dryers available. Lots of elk roaming around nearby, which was fun to see.

The fact that quality food was available in the hotel's freezer for a reasonable price was a huge plus. We arrived late, no restaurant nor supermarket open, this made for a cheaper, delicious, dinner. Thumbs up for the breakfast muffin!
