This feels like an historic town focused on civil war with the charm and greenery you expect in Tennessee. Coming from LA, it felt as if I was in a Hallmark channel, the nice versions of TN living. Everything was easy, relaxing, clean and well kept. I can see why people are moving to this area in droves. You can feel the growth and construction but not in a inconvenience way, it is suttle.

We really enjoyed a day at Pearce Lake. It is so spacious and your view is of trees, trees, and more trees. Very peaceful. In downtown Franklin, we enjoyed dinner at 55 South. Casual, great for kids, delicious grilled shrimp salad. We also enjoyed the Red Pony on a Wednesday night. Rich, dark paneling, quiet, elegant. My salmon had the perfect texture. We had some amazing appetizer that was like a cream gnocchi and fabulous. Great wines, ideal for spending and evening with another couple or two.

We didn't actually spend any time in Franklin, because we came for my niece's wedding that was held in Old Hickory at the Hermitage Golf course. Since the traffic Friday afternoon was very busy we probably should have choosen a location closer to her venue - but I really wanted to stay at Drury Inn since we have stayed in them so many times in the past.

Franklin is easily one of the most charming historic downtowns that I have ever seen. I could easily live there! Ample parking; many restaurant choices; Civil War history (Carter house and Clanton Plantation); access to Natchez Trace Parkway. Dines at Gray’s on Main and it was excellent!

Everything you could possibly need is within minutes.
Everything you could possibly need is within minutes. From fast food to inside dining,gas stations,grocery store,car wash,Home Depot are all within walking distance. Close,but not too close to I-65. 20minute drive to downtown and broadway. Easy to find and access. Pool was very clean. Breakfast was above and beyond what I’ve come to expect from other hotels. Coffee is available in the lobby 24hours a day.

Franklin is a beautiful town and well worth a visit whether for a long stay or enroute as part of a road trip. Near enough to Nashville to visit for a day or two, but also far enough out to experience a more local feel to the area.

Location was great for us, since we were here to visit Nashville and, especially, the Franklin Rodeo! You can walk to the rodeo from the hotel, just 20 minutes away, and a decent path on the side of the road to get there. The room and all the facilities were splendid. We enjoyed the big size room, quite big screen TV (I think 55" of 65") on practical mount to swivel from sleep to living area. Comfy beds and large desk. Very nice to stay multiple nights. You have everything you could possibly need!
At first glance, a small, yet incredibly spacious and fully equipped house with a small garden with seating and a barbecue. Although we did not meet the host during our stay, they were very nice, helpful and promptly responded to all our requests - the malfunctioning kettle was replaced with a new one within a few hours. We would not hesitate to stay in this house again on our next visit to this place.
We always enjoy our stay at the Hyatt! We love the location and the pool. Matt and Turner and Bridgett were great, so friendly and willing to help with anything. Nice to have such great service since it’s hard to come by these days. So when you receive great customer service, it is very appreciated! Thanks so much!
I like that the check in was smooth and the rooms are spacious. I really appreciate the air conditioner working as it should. They have far more channel line ups than some other hotels I have visited. I love the decor and the TVs work as they should as well. It's quiet and a little tucked away. I like that.
Very clean non-smoking rooms👍 Really nice showers in the bathroom. Close to Starbucks and other places to eat. Great accommodations with refrigerator and microwave.
