Price and location were great. Comfortable enough. Liked access to private bathroom. Cute village. Like the public house, friendly staff there. Quick response to our questions from property manager. Train noise was comforting and not annoying in any way.

We've been to a few Wyndham hotels lately, and this was by far the best, albeit at a considerably higher price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food and beverage selections.

Richard is possibly one of the kindest people I have ever met. When we called to confirm our check-in time, he was so friendly, it made us even more excited. The space itself is so iconic, and you can see the attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast was phenomenal, and it was so fun to talk to and interact with the other guests before we left.

The property has several cabins fairly close together. It was nice off season for us because we prefer the quiet setting. The cabin was very clean and stocked to facilitate making simple meals.

Grace and family were very nice. I changed reservations twice due to weather and there was not an issue.
The breakfast was amazing - 5 stars for that alone.

Close to Winona. Fountain City is a cute village. We recommend the Monarch public house for a beverage. Great vibe, friendly staff. The soothing noise of the train made our stay relaxing. Accommodations were adequate. Pottery Barnish. Easy access, good response from manager.

lovely little town right on the river. Spectacular bluffs rising to the east, and the Mississippi River to the west. Loved the food at the Golden Frog. Wish they had a coffee shop, but that is a minor issue.
