This is a new building. Very well kept both inside and out. Bonus - free use of laundry facilities. Attractively decorated. Generous sized dog walk area. Pool, loungers, shelter with table & chairs as well as barbecue facilities. Although on the busy Miracle Parkway it is almost directly across from the Lisa Jackson waterside Park. Lots of shopping nearby.

Traffic is an un-Godly nightmare, so you are good to go if you do not leave your resort. If you do leave, for any reason, plan on bumper-to-bumper traffic that crawls along at 3 MPH. McGuire's in Destin is fantastic. AJ's in Ft. Walton Beach has fab crabcakes.

We love Fort Walton Beach it is beautiful! It has everything you could want close by great food and activities for the whole family. We really enjoyed the fresh seafood at Stewby's Seafood Shanty and pizza at Lost Pizza. And if you would rather eat in your condo there is a Publix Supermarket really close.

We love Fort Walton Beach but the Wyndham hotel we stayed at...
We love Fort Walton Beach but the Wyndham hotel we stayed at was terrible. Water pressure went on and off. Restaurant/bar was only open 4-9pm. The bar out by the pool was closed. Only good thing was the beds were comfortable. Pool area needed a good cleaning. A few of the ladies at the front desk had no information about their hotel or area. Told us to Google it. Never stay there again.

The place is beautiful.
The place is beautiful. Even though we didn't get the room we booked the staff accommodated us. We were very happy with the arrangements they made for us. The sad part is that almost all the bars and lounges were closed due to the season. I want to give a great huge shout out to Terrence for going above and beyond to help us with the room confusion and also to the manager that straightened up everything for us. We are definitely coming back again.

One of the nicest beaches in the world.
One of the nicest beaches in the world. The sand is white, powdery, and goes on for miles. It makes for the perfect spot to go on a long beach walk or run at sunset or late evening.
There are tons of great restaurant food options nearby and even more inland just a few minutes drive away. Publix and other shops are nearby as well, so you feel like you have it all at your fingertips.

The Fort Walton Beach area is perfect for relaxation. The beaches are amazing soft sand, and clear water. The beaches are very clean ocean current flags are always visible. I also like that the life guards are always riding around. All the people are friendly helpful. All in all it is a great place to take your family for a vacation

I arrived at 3am and was very well attended by Miss Samoya. She was super kind and friendly! The room was very clean. The next day our breakfast, which was almost at 10am, was complete, the guy who was replacing all the items was very helpful and polite. I was really impressed with the quality of service and the entire structure of the hotel. I will definitely be back!!!
The location of this hotel was a short 10 minute drive to the beach, grocery and restaurants. Also about a 25 minute drive to Destin area. Staff was friendly. Hotel felt clean and updated.
A/C worked well in our room. Mini frig and microwave worked. Hotel offered pet-friendly rooms for our friends that traveled with us. Pool was decent.
The condo was nice and clean. It was a convenient location but not on the beach. The beach was a short 5 minute drive to the fort Walton beach boardwalk which has beach access. The outside of the condos looks kinda run down and we woke up to the downstairs neighbors fighting but it was an okay stay.
Everything was great! The beach, the pools, especially the shallow little kids pool helped keep our kids entertained. Good food and drinks right at the pool and on the beach. Live music each night, there seemed to always be something to do each day!
There was an operable elevator to the 3rd floor rooms. I appreciated a smoking room option. A room was available last minute when all other hotels were booked. The room appeared to have been somewhat recently updated, wasn’t horrible inside.
The location was right on the beach, which is what we wanted. The room was actually quite large, and the bed was comfortable. While we were right outside the pool pump, the room was still fairly quiet (white noise only).
The room was clean, the housekeeper came everyday. Breakfast was fresh and amazing each day. The pool area was perfect. I will be going back next month hopefully the same staff is there.
Kids activities, beachfront, all staff helpful, ocean view, kids club free, kids eat for free that’s a big point with four kids!
