The breakfast was very good everyday. The beds were the most comfortable in any hotel/inn/b&b we have stayed in. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend.

Our room did not even have a mini fridge, ice bucket, any hand towels. Our beds were short, I'm only 5'5" and my feet hung off the end. The electrical plugs hardly worked - they were so loose - you had to prop the plug into them. Our TV had to be turned on, off, and volume by hand on the back of the TV. We finally got a hand towel the last day - they said they were short? The room was inexpensive, but I will definitely pay more next time at a different hotel - that is not so dumpy. This belongs below in what I didn't like.

Folly Beach is a cute beach town with lots of restaurants and beach shops to look around. Pier 101 is outstanding and there is a bar restaurant there as well as ice cream shop and store.
We enjoyed relaxing by the hotel and walking into town for dinner.Also, in the Tides hotel where we stayed the Blu Bar & Grill with oceanfront views was quite delicious.
It was also only a 20 minute ride to downtown Charleston where we went for a Harbor Cruise, horse and carriage ride and the beautiful Waterfront Park to see the famous pineapple fountain. Btw shout out to Ruby Sunshine phenomenal breakfast and Fleet Landing for fabulous dinner( grilled, blackened swordfish).

Great friendly, clean and the ocean was not rough with tide, current or waves. Enough to stroll swim, surf, collect shells....all the things you hope to find and do. Enough space to spread out and play games.

Sand . Beautiful beach to walk…hope we keep it that way. So close to good food, shopping and Charleston! But just far enough away for relaxing! Beautiful sunrise!

Folly Beach is a fun family friendly location. It is safe and great for teenagers to walk around.
We love Rita's and ate there twice. It is within walking distance. Also love The Lost Dog Cafe. Great food and atmosphere.
Bert's Market is a must visit for the old town beach vibe.
Getting around Folly is very easy. Watch for some one way streets.
Fishing on the intercostal waterways was amazing and caught lots of fish.

Our families first time there and it was great.
Our families first time there and it was great. It was in March , so not to crowded .The beach was lovely and so were the people. Traveled up to Myrtle after and my kids actually liked the laid back , peaceful vibe of Folly better ( I have 2 teenagers). Favorite places were the beach and the pier.

We had a great time and the home was so nice, it felt like home. we will definitely be back to stay here again. It's close enough to town to walk everywhere for shopping and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer.
was very spacious and loved the private balcony and the fact it was dog friendly - the only complaint is it was loud one of the days in the early morning but it's still under construction so that's to be expected.

The location was excellent, right on the beach and close to the town’s main strip. The staff were all very friendly (though there was a shortage of staff; see below). The food at the Blu restaurant was excellent, the best we ate in Folly Beach.
Breakfast was excellent, far exceeding normal hotel breakfast.
The staff were super - friendly and helpful. Even helped carry our luggage. Easy to talk with.
Happy hour was very good. Sorry that I missed it one day.
Close location to Charleston. Beach was one block away, bar across the street, Bert's grocery across the street. Short walk to downtown Folly Beach. The rental was clean and modern. Laundry and kitchen functioned well.
No breakfast included? Location right there in Folly Beach was the best part of the deal. TV did NOT work...bummer. Overall, the inn and facilities were very old fashioned and overpriced for what we got ($250 nite!!).
We had never heard of Folly beach before, so we did not know what to expect. The room was great with an excellent view of the beach. The beach was beautiful and the town was a really great place to visit.
The location is wonderful. It's the best area to be at Folly Beach. The staff especially Eli and Stephanie went above and beyond. The beach area is wonderful and Rita's is right across the street..

Folly Beach is great! We liked how close we were to the beach, and the outdoor shower was awesome. It fit our family of five just fine. The cherry on top was having a washer and dryer.
Location was excellent as we also enjoy going into Charleston & it’s very convenient . We love the Folly Beach area for all the shops & great choice of restaurants
