Staff was great and very helpful but I called to see if I would be able to checkin later in the night and I was informed that they had given my room that I reserved to someone else due to over booking. It didn't start off well

The in room Jacuzzi was awesome. The food was really good and not over priced. There wasn't many people when we stayed (not a fan of excess humans). The receptionist/manager was really nice, and helpful. We were unintentionally annoying, since my children locked us out at least 3 times. She definitely had patience. The waitress at the restaurant was also very nice and great with children.

The room and hallways were musty smelling and the the room needs some care and maintenance. Our room security latch was missing and the back door swipe card mechanism was broken, leaving it open to anyone to enter. Due to renovations, breakfast was not being supplied with no gratuity or reduction in price. It was very difficult to find parking due to seasonal outside entertainment.

Highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast for the accommodations including a full breakfast. Lots of attention to details. Lots of history of the Delano house as well as the immediate area. Super comfortable king size bed. Internet worked great. We enjoyed the morning breakfast with guests from many different places across the 5 days we were there: from Belgium one morning, from South Carolina and Maine another morning, then from neighboring New Bedford. Guests choose their breakfast times for a relaxed morning. Paul as the innkeeper was a great source of information and recommendations of places to see and of where to dine; each place was a winner! He also helped with our bags to the car even as we departed at 6:am to drive to the Boston airport. Super Host! Liz as the hostess and cook for the morning breakfast and to help with any housekeeping issues was a delight. She also was a wealth of knowledge on the house and the area. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home the entire time.

I grew up in this town so I'm a bit biased but I love Fairhaven, especially the village where the Seaport is located. The town is rich with history and Fairhaven has everything you could want in a vacation spot. Avoid the crowds and expense of the Cape and Islands and spend your time here instead. It's more economical and more relaxing.

    Lovely New England seaside town.

Lovely New England seaside town. We are originally from MA, so we were familiar with the surroundings. Handy to New Bedford and the Cape. Plenty of good restaurants and beaches close by. We had lunch at Fathoms on Pope's Island, not far from our hotel. Fabulous seafood and located right on the waterfront.

We had two perfect days / nights at Delano Homestead Bed and Breakfast. Our hosts Paul and Sharyn fulfilled our every wish. The house and our room were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We had delicious breakfast and even had very special guests in the garden one morning: turkeys! We would travel to Fairhaven again at any time and can recommend the Delano Homestead Bed and Breakfast! Thank you Sharyn and Paul for this great time with you. See you soon (hopefully)

The room amenities were more modern for example the mirror had settings for different lighting such as cool and warm lighting as well as to prevent it from fogging up while in the shower. The tv was a smart tv but all the apps were locked. I will say the Wi-Fi was one of the highlights as we had a strong connection all the way in the back of the hotel where our room was, there were no issues connecting our phones or Roku.

It was really interesting learning about the Delano connection to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the historical records and photos were a bonus. Staying in a historic mansion is really special. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and our new hostess was very helpful. It was not too far from the ferry terminal to Martha's Vineyard by uber. Walking around the little town of Fairhaven was very memorable.

The property is well located in Fairhaven close to the ferry to Marth's Vineyard. It was located in a quaint neighborhood that was was safe and well kept. Liz the manager was very hospitable and full of historic notes and recommendations! Liz's recommendation for the Black Whale Restaurant was outstanding. The house and property was a travel back in history to a time opulence and splendor!

There was really nothing I liked about Seaport Inn. The toilet seat was loose, the halls smelled musty, the staff was not friendly, the phone didn't work, the pool was closed, there was no place to eat there, they were doing renovations but at a very slow pace. Please don't waist your money on this place. I should have stayed at the Best Western in Dartmouth instead.

Breakfast was very good. The service people we met were engaging and friendly. The hotel and our room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The bathroom and shower facility were very functional and clean. Really liked the wall mounted bathing soaps etc. We traveled with another couple who were equally impressed as well.

Great value, don’t let the price fool you. I was nervous booking because the price was about 1/2 of what some of the other local hotels were…but it was great. Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Would stay again. It was close enough to Longplex Sports Center in RI where we spent most of our time.
