I chose the Miyako for its location: near Los Angeles Union Train Station in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of LA. Little Tokyo is a charming neighborhood and there is a subway station and bus stops close by to get anywhere in the area easily.
The Miyako is a solid three star hotel that is very clean and well cared for and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a small coffee shop/bakery in the lobby area for a morning coffee and/or breakfast and they have a small area where you can purchase snacks and drinks.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Well laid out for either relaxing or using the desk to work on a computer.
Offering a tranquil outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant, Hotel Figueroa is located across the street from the LA Live entertainment complex, which is home to Cyrpto.com Arena.
