I travel to Albany at least twice a month - finding a clean /comfortable/affordable hotel in this area has been a struggle- some hotels in the Albany area are absolute trash- a lot of them are dumpy & have not been updated in years -are filthy & have the nerve to be expensive- I was very impressed w The Fairfield Inn - the price was great- it was very clean & updated -staff was kind-I will definitely stay here again
I loved the proximity to I-90. I also loved the fact that there is a gas station, Stewart’s, and Dunkin Donuts right beside the hotel! The breakfasts were outstanding and started at 6:00 AM. I can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you for accommodating my early check-in as well.
Nice hotel. Graduation weekend and other events filled it to capacity. Made the wait for the tiny elevator a chore. Stairwell was dark and dirty. Lot's of cultural diversity with other guests, so the place had an interesting selection of smells and sounds.
Based on price, I got what was expected. But I would not stay at this hotel other than for one night in transit - leave early. Bare bones hotel. The only problem was there was no place to hang clothes. Television channels were pretty useless selection.
The breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a hotel anywhere. The pool was small but met the need. Enjoyed it and the quality of furnishings and staff while I was at the hotel. Waalking behind the hotel was also interesting. Lots of birds.
The front desk clerk was friendly, gave a brief of the amenities, dining and snacks. The hotel was spotlessly clean and smelled wonderful. Our room was perfect. The quiet location and trees outside our window made for a nice, quiet stay
It was okay. The staff was friendly and nice but the hotel itself was ok. The pool was closed so it was a bit disappointing for our kids. We got to do the laundry which was great. Overall just pleasant.
The hotel provided just what I needed on this short business trip: a decent location near the freeway, easy access to businesses and a rate that was cheaper than the outrageous ones in the Berkshires!
