Hampton Inn Dunn, hotel in Dunn

This North Carolina hotel features an outdoor pool and guest rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV with HBO. Hampton Inn Dunn is 6 miles from Averasboro Battlefield Museum.

Staff was very nice ...the cleanliness was average , felt dirty in some spots and the room itself seemed old. The couch in the room had stains all over it and a huge tear. Was scary to sit on. The breakfast was awful. I've stayed in other symptoms and this breakfast was the worst out of all of them. Eggs had water in it , the sausage was chewy and not even edible , the area was very dirty as well. Very disorganized .

Very nice breakfast set up - could have had larger coffee cups. Great small conference room and easy in and out. Staff very engaging and helpful - needed more towels and no soap in the room, but liked the facility.

The sagebrush is almost in the same parking lot as the Inn, the food the was good. Other than that I don't know much about Dunn. I do know its halfway between Georgia and Maryland. That's why I always stop there.

This hotel is not suitable for any stay and needs a lot of TLC. The lobby is about the only area that has been renovated and the rooms, ac, curtains, walls, furniture all need to be replaced. It is filthy and dusty and they need to do a better job at maintaining the rooms dust free and clean. Their toilets were awful and coming off the base. The one room we were in, the toilet was actually leaking. The closet door was missing and it just appeared really out dated and untidy.

    Very dirty.

Very dirty. Only smoking hotel around, but would never stay again. Charged me extra $20 for little dog in room that smelled so bad and was filthy. One pillow, no tp, no wi fi. Parking lot full of holes. Property just nasty. Bugs in room. Bedding full of burn holes. Desk employees not pleasant, no hi, hello, welcome. Complained but was told they were short staffed. No excuse. Room should still be clean and presentable, not smelly and covered in burn holes and dried garbage on furniture. This whole experience has turned me off ALL Choice hotels.

The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable.

The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. Apparently there was a kids baseball tournament going on and we did not get any sleep for 2 days because of kids running up and down the halls and knocking on doors and running away. We called the front desk 3 times to take care of it. It went on past midnight and started again early morning. Therefore we got no sleep for 2 days. We were exhausted. Because the issue was not handled we will not be returning for that reason. Sad because it was a very nice room.

When we got there we were placed in a smoking room their head burns on the comforter, burns on the sink, Burns were everywhere. And the room smelled terrible. I do not recall having an option on the website for either smoking or non-smoking. I complain to the front desk and then we were put in a room just behind the office and there was horrible. There was rust everywhere including a huge hole in the tub. The hanger was so roster that when I hung up my cold it disconnected from from the hanger and fell on the floor. It was an absolutely Disgusting room.

The Queen wasn’t ready. So they allowed me to stay in a King free of charge! Nice and quiet location. May look run down, but not in a really bad way. The buildings are painted and everything is in great condition for the most part, it’s just in a small town and it’s not the fanciest of places but it’s really nice inside. And it has Everything that you expect from a hotel. And the place does have its charm. It reflects what the whole town of Dunn is; Quiet with some old charm. And lots of food options close by!

Hotel clerk made arrangements for me to park my boat and trailer, even though there was construction going on she saved a place for me very thoughtful and good service. She used to be commended.

The size of the room was excellent. I was able to connect my laptop to the tv using an HDMI cable. The hotel was close to my family so I didn't have far to travel.
