The place was very clean and smelled fresh even though they allow pets. Breakfast was hot, with a variety to accommodate everyone. Staff was welcoming and always smiling. Easy drive to the beach.

Destin is a beautiful area for families The beach is clean and the sand is soft and white. There are so many things to do in the area. Driving is a bit of a hassle, but the rental of a golf cart looked like a smart idea. We ate at Fat Clemenza's and the Surf Hut. Both were excellent for the food and the ambiance. We also ate at Fudpuckers, but once we were seated, it took forever to be served our food. There was plenty to do while we waited for a table, but the kitchen was very slow.

My husband and I came for our babymoon in February. It was cool - but coming from the NorthEast Winter, it was exactly the escape we needed. We spent almost everyday walking around the resort, visiting the swimming pools (The main pool was heated which was great for taking a dip, and the Market Street pool was perfect for sunbathing in remote quiet), and biked several times around the entire resort and to the beach. The biking paths were our favorite aspect of the resort - we saw so many beautiful views and renting the bikes was easy! The food at Baytowne Wharf was perhaps some of the best eats we've ever had and the bay and beach sunsets should NOT be missed!

Nice sandy beach.
Nice sandy beach. Possible to hire chairs and a parasol but very expensive! Close to shops and restaurants. Would have liked to visit the Turtle Conservation center but it was closed when we were in Destin so we visited Fort Pickens instead

Destin is a beautiful place.
Destin is a beautiful place. Alot of scenery and the sunsets are amazing down at the harbor. Oysters were great at all the places we ate them. Lots of nice shopping around the area. Beaches were very clean. We will be back soon!

I am a past business owner in Destin . I've always loved the area from South Walton County thru Ft. Walton Beach and Destin is right in the middle. I have many friends in Destin and love to see them . AJs always is fun as is Brotula's, Dewey Destins, and Margaritaville. The harbour is my home away from home . You can't go wrong with the charter fishing boats and the Christian captains such as Disipleship,5thDay etc.

Destin is great for family getaways, and friend trips for all ages. Definitely affordable. I went December 2023 and was not too cold, just a little chilly and windy. Easy access to the beautiful beach from anywhere in Destin. Henderson Beach State Park has easy parking near shore. Excellent outdoor mall, movie theatre, Walmart, Bealls store, Dollar Tree, Snorkeling/Scuba Dive option, small water park, go-karts, and seafood restaurants just to name a few. I was amazed with Destin, I loved it!! Highly recommended for all ages.

Clean property , ok staff and breakfast was great.
But for a one night booking the price I payed I wasn’t paying for the property I was paying the location.
The property needs work. It’s an older property so expect bathroom to have broken corners or the room carpet to be dirty and be broken in corners.
Honestly $140-160 would be the price for this hotel per night on a weekend.
Not worth the $240/night weekend.
Overall we were glad it was clean
The room was nasty, my husband killed a roach on the nightstand. The first day we arrived there were people standing around outside smoking. The couch & carpet was filthy. It stormed & the power went out & did not come back on. My husband & I checked right right after checking in. This is the worst hotel I ever visited.
The hotel was within walking distance of everything, and made my drive shorter. The rooms were very clean, and smelled really nice. We have visited Destin FL several times, and stayed at different hotels. Our stay at Best Western was by far the best experience we have ever had.
When i booked we thought it was more of hotel... the checkin lobby was a mile from where we where staying.. we typically if we stay in hotwl stay at Sandestin Hilton, which i know is totally different, but not that it is not nice but we will not be staying there again
The advertised hot breakfast was non existent. There were pkgs of flavored oatmeal on the counter, a couple of apples in a bowl and a few muffins or danishes. That was it. No hot breakfast. Very dissatisfied considering we pay a premium price for a cheap motel.
Weve stayed at this hotel twice now and have came back specifially for the breakfast buffet, spacey rooms, and elegant ambiance. The lobby area is so beatiful, there was a wedding held there while we were there. The private veach access is nice as well.
We love the espresso machine in the room. Staff very friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the Wharf.
The rooftop pool was also very nice!! NO complaint, we always go back to this hotel whenever we are going to Sandestin..

Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Close to everything you want to do in Destin. Killer sunset views from the balcony. Perfect for a family with teenagers, as they get their own bathroom.
Best hotel I've ever had. It smells amazing upon walking in.Front desk staff Afreen was so nice. 10/10 highly recommend. I'll definitely book here for every trip to Destin.
