Stayed here just passing through - it was ok. Nothing really that nice, but not terrible.

The room was clean and comfortable. Del Rio is a noisy city, and the hotel's shape created a little quiet oasis. The owners were very friendly.

Del Rio is a super clean town. That is a major plus for me.
Del Rio is a super clean town. That is a major plus for me. All the restaurants I would want & stores galore. We went to Val Verde Winery, the oldest winery in Texas, had a blast doing a wine tasting! I loved the old world style homes. Definitely would come visit again.

No "border issues", locals were very friendly and the town felt very safe. The reservoir was low and some amenities were not available. There are limited hiking trails although there is potential for more.

Dirty rag under the bed no breakfast in the mornings the pool was drained there was a party happening outside which lasted most of the night and when I arrived they didn’t accept cash only cards, none of the above was mentioned or I would have chosen the cheaper place it couldn’t have been any worse

I love that Del Rio is not a big city and doesn’t take you long to get to where you want to go. Has good Mexican food. The Amistad Dam is a good place for fishing and boat riding. We ate at Marcelino, iHop, Sirloin Stockade and we enjoyed the food.

It's slow paced, the people are friendly and helpful.
It's slow paced, the people are friendly and helpful. I wanted to visit the Whitehead Museum but it was closed that day. I did visit the Laughlin AFB museum and the two gentlemen who run it were excellent guides and full of stories of the history of aviation in the area, the AFB, etc.
I didn't have breakfast in the hotel because of an excellent breakfast restaurant right next door called "Skillets." The location was very convenient for me because it was equidistant from all the places I wanted to go. I was very pleased with the pleasantness of the staff, the names of whom I can't remember (shame on me). Upon my arrival, the receptionist had changed my booking rate to the hotel standard weekly rate and saved me about $100.00. I feel REALLY bad about forgetting her name.
I had the opportunity to interact with a sharp professional young lady at 10 pm check in. In the morning going into their lobby for coffee , I had the good fortune to meet the manager who happily explained the furniture and interior upgrades in progress. Having traveled with working dogs quite a bit .. motel 6 properties are often my overnight choice. This Del Rio property and your Weatherford property are two with the best staff that I have experienced in Texas.
Thank goodness the room overall looked clean and possibly somewhat remodeled. The curtains needed to be replaced. I know housekeeping works very hard to do their best, but its up to owners or management to assure that everything else is in good conditions.
Clean and comfortable place to stay. Breakfast choice was good and well stocked. The hotel was undergoing renovation but this didn’t disturb us in the least. Easy to get groceries and an evening meal within walking distance.
I left a small camera bag in my room. The owner telephoned me while I was still in Del Rio, at breakfast, and told me. When I drove back to retrieve the item, she saw my car and greeted me with the bag!
Motel-style room with parking outside door. Manuels's Steak House next door was great for dinner, just a two-minute walk. Basic breakfast included. Friendly and helpful couple who own and run the hotel.
Breakfast was okay and hotel was affordable for last min reservation in the entire town. Plenty of space for 2 people to stay in and move around in. Beds were comfortable.
It was our first time in Del Rio. We were there to visit our son and the location was great for what we needed. Breakfast was really nice and staff was excellent.
Location was great---beautiful park area nearby really helped us to discover the history and distinctiveness of Del Rio's foundation through springs and canals.
