My name is Wen. On March 30st, I forgot retrieve my ID at this hotel when l checked out .Thanks to them for faxed a copy of my ID to the next hotel where I checked in the next day, and promising to send my ID card to my home address. The Postage is paid for by me. But 10 days have passed and I haven't received it. If they are too busy to send my ID back, I hope they will send me a photo of the sealed ID in the mail to make a sure that I don't have to worry about the security of my identity in the future. I hope I can get their response, it's my fault for forgetting the ID. I had to apply for a new ID.

Flexible to respond to check-in request in the middle of the night
Our resort’s spring-fed waterfront on King’s Bay is internationally sought out for swimming with the manatees.

Staff was friendly, and they would have allowed us a late check out (one hour later) at no charge if we had needed it. We were in a renovated room (primarily new flooring). We appreciated the dinner restaurant recommendations by the staff member that checked us in. No - there are no coffee makers in the rooms but on our week long road trip we didn't usually end up using them anyways, so this didn't bother us as much as it seems to bother others. Room was basic but it fit our needs
Good shower - strong pressure.

Beautiful area, with a lot to explore.
Beautiful area, with a lot to explore. My schedule only allowed 1/2 day. I would recommend visiting mid-week, NOT during Spring break. I rented a kayak for 3 hours from Hunter Springs Kayaks (highly recommend them!), with the intention of swimming with manatees. I only saw 1 manatee while swimming, plus a couple more from the kayak, since it was late in the season for seeing manatees. Next time I'll plan on visiting earlier in the season, midweek

Crystal River is an adorable little beach town full of nature loving people, artists, veterans, and retirees. We had a wonderful time there snorkeling with manatees, boating, kayaking, and exploring Heritage Village. Highly recommended for a long weekend trip.

Three sisters spring was very nice saw a lot of manatees and the trails were nice. Parking was limited. Kayak rental was pricey and not worth it. We did see manatees but the bay was crowded the water murky until you got near the springs. Would not recommend kayaking in the bay and channels. There are much better places to kayak . If you love seafood eat at the Crab Plant. Casual dining with great food and a big variety of fresh caught seafood.

Crystal River is the most beautiful little town we have ever visited. Everything is manatee-themed, even down to some of the streetlights! There are lots of things to do, especially if you love nature and wildlife. Scalloping, hiking, swimming with manatees, and kayaking just to name a few. There are also lots of great dining options available, especially the seafood! It is a cultural hotspot as well, with lots of murals, galleries, museums, and historical sites to see. We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time.

The best birthday vacation.
The best birthday vacation. Main goal was to snorkel with manatees. Was able to pack a lot of activities into each day since towns are so close together. The best place for outdoor activities and water activities. Lots of history. Many parks and trails for walking. hiking, or biking. The locals are so nice and engaging. They make you feel welcome, and the few times I drove anywhere I did not encounter impatient or rude drivers. They just move around you and ignore the pokey tourist. Such a nice place to visit and they make you feel safe there. And lots of fresh seafood!
Everything! I have never been a guest in a more friendly hotel. From the front desk, to the cleaning staff, and to the breakfast crew and other hotel guests... everyone was friendly and interested in making my stay pleasant. No hassle check in. Plenty of convenient on-site parking. Clean and comfortable facility.. The complimentary breakfast was well organized and offered a sufficient amount and selection. I highly recommend this Holiday inn Express. The location is conveniently located to local shopping, restaurants, and Manatee excursions.
check in went smoothly, very friendly desk person. the room is very basic, but everything was there including a microwave and fridge..it is a very basic hotel but was clean for a quickie overnight trip where we just needed a place to crash for the night..the shower pressure was good..the sink did not drain very well and might be something someone might want to look into..but the fridge was very cold and it was just perfect for a cheap quick night in the middle of a very rural area that does not have a lot of fancy places to stay
This was such a great find. My husband and I planned a last minute getaway to Crystal River for scalloping. We found this spot and booked a room. From the time we arrived to our last day the owner and his business partner, Tina were extremely gracious and accommodating. Clean, charming atmosphere and comfy room and bed with private bath. This place was a senior living facility that they are converting into a hotel inn and they are doing a great job. I’m recommending this place to everyone! Great price too!!
We stay here every year. This older hotel has the best views on Crystal River. It’s in the heart of all the places to go. They have a Marina to rent boats or kayaks with reasonable prices. The rooms are always clean and the king beds are very comfortable. It’s pet friendly so we can bring our dog. There is a restaurant next door so we didn’t even leave the hotel. Right now they are in process of building a new hotel but are still booking the other half so no pool till they are done.
Beautiful inside and out. They provided fresh pastries every afternoon, the rooms have all been remodeled and are very comfortable. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable well maintained property. Unlike staying in a big traditional hotel there were no door slamming or people running down hallway screaming during the night. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to stay here again myself.
The breakfast area is accessible and well stocked as well.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The towels and bedding felt and looked clean without an overwhelming chlorine smell. They have complimentary coffee all day and night, and the breakfast included in the stay is the best breakfast selection I have ever had in a hotel. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is great.
Beautiful place, very quiet but walkable a local beach and Explorida Manatee experience office. They give discount to guests from this hotel. The grounds are so pretty and the rooms are very well looked after. Like others have mentioned, the complimentary Danish pastries are a lovely touch and so fresh and delicious!
The staff at reception were amazing, they gave us all the local information we needed to get the best out of our visit to Crystal river. The accommodation, was clean, comfortable and well kept. The breakfast was simple, but more than enough to keep you going and it changed every day, which was nice.
This was definitely one of our favourite stays in Florida! The staff were super friendly, the breakfast was tasty, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect! If you come to Crystal River, this is definitely the place to stay.
Beautiful clean facility, comfortable room & bed. Great morning breakfast service. Food was excellent and staff was great. Hotel was conveniently located near relatives we were visiting. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
An old hotel, but absolut charming. There was problem with the electrcity and in a few minutes we got a new room. Go the the restaurant. Very friendly staff and amazing seafood.
Great location! It’s right on the water for plenty of bird watching or activities, and it’s walking distance to Three Sisters Springs. The staff was very friendly.
