The property offers many activities. Guests can enjoy on-site dining with a view of the lake. There is also skiing, tennis and hiking.

They offer some unique activities such as lawn bowling and the grand march which has always brought much excitement to our family. In the winter, they have indoor ice skating which is also great.
They have a long list of activities for weekends, great but it stinks when 2-3 interesting activities are scheduled at the exact same time instead of spread over other hours where nothing is scheduled.
Breakfast buffet is wonderful between their omelette station and their house made smoothies and overnight oats.
We love the pools, the three options close together of full size, kid’s, and hot tub are great, and the outdoor pool being right outside there is fantastic.
They offer tea, lemonade and cookies in the lobby for guests an hour each day, this is very cute.
The lobby is enjoyable to spend time in and sit by the fire. The back porch offers nice views and the library bar is interesting and fun. We always look forward to the observation deck.
They have a small gym near the pool and decent size locker rooms for pool and gym area.
The inn has a pro shop which has a decent selection of items. The inn appears well-kept and very quiet which I believe is why some people choose to stay there- to be away from some business of the main lodge. The Lakeview restaurant at the inn is aesthetically pleasing and there is a small, nice rooftop area to enjoy. Unfortunately their menu rarely appeals to me and last time I tried something it was dry and not enjoyable. For the price, I am not sure it’s worth bothering to chance an entrees again but perhaps the appetizers and drinks will do.
The Windsor Dining room has a few good options on the dinner menu. The Tap Room is nice to go and sit in or enjoy takeout but the burgers were burnt and overcooked when I ordered medium rare and there aren’t a lot of options that sound great but a few work.
The gift shop downstairs is nice, but wish they had better options for adult and children’s clothing.
Magnolia Streamside Resort provides air-conditioned accommodations in Canadensis. This vacation home offers free private parking and a mini-market.

The rustic vibe , I felt like I was back in Europe by the towns of France . It was truly a relaxing place. I wish there was a fireplace , as it would be lovely to be able to have some wine near the rivers and waterfalls they have but it was amazing to be able to relax and disconnect from NYC’s disorganized noise !

The area is filled with adventure, we were there to experience the fall foliage in the Poconos. The bar and restaurant in the main building was nice and the food was great. We stayed on one of the outer buildings, fireplace was all you needed for a nice warm comfort zone. The staff was very helpful and the grounds were well kept and lit. There was fire pits and outdoor adventures on site, great experience.

When we opened the cabin door, we noted a Smokey smell, which gives the place a rustic character, but we also though it was mixed with the smell of mildew. The property seemed to be in a stat of disrepair and not really put the standards we expected for the price they charge. In the pictures (if they upload correctly - Booking.com has an issue there from what I can tell) you can see cardboard closing the gap between A/C and window frame, a misaligned cabinet and rusted refrigerator door, missing blinds in front of the sliding glass door, and a big carpet stain. We have stayed in worse locations, but not many, and we would not stay here again.
