The inside was clean but looks like a room from 30 years ago. The man in the office was very nice and even showed us to our room and explained everything to us - who does that any more?

The host was very kind and communicative.

The host was very kind and communicative. The apartment was modern and artistic and very clean. The location is absolutely breathtaking and you must stay up late enough to see the layers of stars at night. The patio was built for privacy. I had dinner at Nichols which was another gem ran by a professional chef just a mile away. I would suggest this site to anyone visiting Arizona since you get a real feel of what Arizona is about. Especially if you like rodeos or cowboys.

I loved that it was tiny, real desert, rural, and friendly.

I loved that it was tiny, real desert, rural, and friendly. I loved the restaurant in town, Nichols West..great food! I really enjoyed the desert environment. I made quick "friends" with one of the sales people at the Dollar Store, the US Postmaster, the really nice, dark-haired waitress in Nichols West, and the delightful and knowledgeable guide in the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg who knew all about trains...it was wonderful to talk to a fellow train buff...and the really nice guide who was new to the area, had fallen in love with the area and moved there. Wonderful experiece!!
