Fantastic building and loved the deco and atmosphere.
We were there 3 days and loved it. We went on the Thursday - Saturday of spring break. We had to pre-purchase all our events because it was busy. Our favorite thing was renting electric scooters & touring downtown. We also went to the incline railway, an escape room on a train car, rode an actual train & visited Naughty Cat Cafe. There you can enjoy a coffee while you pet cats up for adoption. Plenty of great places to eat, although we stuck to the chain restaurants. We didn't have enough time in our trip to see all the great attractions available. The only downside was traffic. I-24 & I-75 were busy, but anyone from Atlanta will not see it as a problem.

We were there for a meeting, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the National Medal of Honor Museum and highly recommend it to everyone! Pucketts is on the opposite side of the same building so once you are finished with your Museum tour, you can grab a bite to eat. You will not leave hungry!
Also, a super fun adventure for the family is the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum! We love trains and it is a sure WIN with any Thomas the Tank engine lovers!! Look on their website for special events and days when the trains are 'running'. Just TERRIFIC!

Chattanooga has lots of great things to enjoy (we like Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, Creative Discovery Museum (for our son). There's the Aquarium as well. However, driving around Chattanooga is terrible (road layout and people driving like idiots - I'm a confident and competent driver but still felt that my family and I were in significant danger on the roads) and the city has a nice center surrounded by a vast, sprawling, poorly planned industrial zone. Therefore, I highly recommend planning your stay and routes carefully in advance, basing yourself either downtown or on Lookout Mountain and planning driving routes in advance.

We are elderly and had disabilities and asked for bottom floor. We had to go up 2 flights of stairs. We also told them about our pets (as it was shown as pet friendly) and they overcharged us for the pets! They did not speak much english and were very difficult to understand. Very little breakfast, just individually wrapped cookies, juice and bad coffee!! It was the worst place we have ever stayed and I would never recommend it to anyone!!

Ruby Falls is an unique place one must visit.
Ruby Falls is an unique place one must visit. One of the best places I have been so far. Rock City and Incline Rail should be clubbed together to have a wonderful experience. One can't miss Coker museum. In addition, number of attractions and different culinary makes this place perfect holiday destination!

The downtown area is very clean with lots of parking options for nearby attractions. The Medal of Honor Center was educational and its' scenes were very well done. Worth the visit.
The Riverwalk was a popular and wonderful experience, a great city asset.
We dined on fresh oysters at The Boathouse along the river and more seafood at Hennens, for upscale dining downtown. Good service and easy parking at both restaurants.
Although I have stayed at many expensive hotels, and other Airbnb homes, this place might be the nicest that I have experienced. As soon as you walk through the door of the hotel, you are overwhelmed with how cool the hotel is. The sites and smells are all encouraging and comfortable and engaging. The room is essentially a, modern decorated two room apartment. My entire family loved staying here and wished that we had stayed longer. For our next trip to Chattanooga, we will certainly look at staying at this hotel as our first option.
You never know what to expect when you book online. I was very happy with the hotel, the room was a comfortable size for us. There were 2 adults and an 8 & 9 year old. The balcony over looks the pool, the bed was awesome, the bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. The pool was clean & staff was coming out frequently to check to make sure there were enough towels poolside. The staff was very nice, breakfast was more then expected. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel the next trip to Chattanooga we take.
We absolutely love RiverView Inn. This was the last and best hotel in our 10 days road trip. My children didn't want to leave. This inn is so cute and has an amazing view of the Tennessee River and the Rocky mountain. Even though the room is a bit small for a family of 5 but it is expected. The hot breakfast is good and with Starbuck coffee. The pool is clean and so cute with a great view, clean pool towels, and the fire pit is a plus. We would love to come back here if we pass by Chattanooga in the future.
Front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming, and gracious to our large group at check in and out. The kids were ecstatic that the hotel had a basketball for them to shoot some hoops (near the pool) for a few hours as a destressor before heading to a regional swim meet downtown Chattanooga that night.
It was very clean and felt secure. Big tv with lots of channels. We had booked a room at another hotel next door and it was disgusting so luckily the Fairfield had vacancy for us. We were so relieved to sleep here we booked it for our return trip as well. Decent breakfast too.
The receptionist was not welcoming and couldn’t care less about your requests.
Just saying hello and welcome makes a difference. Some hotels don’t get this!!
With a little effort this hotel could have been a nice place to stay at. The room was dated but okay inside.
I enjoyed exploring this historic hotel, right in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. The rooms were clean and the staff were uniformly helpful, especially Walker and Timmy at the concierge desk. The rooms were well-appointed, with some exceptions (see below).
Nice hotel, indoor pool, small fitness room, guest laundry, nice lobby with coffee/tea available 24/7, pet friendly, friendly and helpful staff, just off highway in cluster of hotels so fairly easy access to downtown and points of interest near Chattanooga
Proximity to highway for our drive back home, clean hotel and very comfortable bed! we booked this to cut our drive home in half and visit family in Chattanooga. Hotel was great, breakfast was yummy and ready at 6:30am. would stay here again!
Located near the highway, right at the beginning of downtown. It is an old motel, recently renovated: the rooms are nice, clean and the stuff is cordial and professional.
Overall, I would say a good stay, but nothing out of the ordinary.
This hotel is our halfway point driving to and from Florida to Toronto.
Excellent Location off Hwy 75.
The price is the best deal in Town.
Love the quiet working area.
Breakfast included.
Coffee and available all day.
Great breakfast options. Kids loved the pool areas. Good location, less than 15 min to downtown area. Plenty of towels. Toiletries provided. Cleanliness exceed expectations with it being a pet friendly hotel.
No breakfast offered but there is a nice diner connected to the hotel and hotel guests get a 10% discount off their bill. Place was clean and the staff was very friendly.
The location is what makes this hotel nice. Our family events happened near Hamilton Place in Chattanooga and this hotel is right across the interstate from there.
