The staff were very helpful as we arrived on bicycles having ridden from Baltimore, after starting in Washington DC. The staff sent us to a great place for Philly Steak Sandwiches and asked what I thought when I got back.

Located in Philadelphia, 322 metres from the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center features a complimentary hot breakfast daily.

Central location, albeit this part of the city itself is sketchy and unsafe. Pretty nice staff, particularly bar staff. Clean and comfy room.

Penn's View Hotel Philadelphia, hotel in Camden

Featuring an on-site wine cellar, an a la carte restaurant and a fitness centre, Penn's View Hotel is located in Philadelphia, 400 metres from Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Independence Park.

The historical location is close to all the sites which are easy to walk around. There is a Plash bus and metro station very close by which allows you to see the sights without having to walk too much. The room was very clean and very comfortable. There's complimentary coffee and muffins for breakfast. Which was good. Although there's a delightful breakfast/lunch cafe across the road that served wonderful coffee, tea etc and delicious sandwiches cakes and treats. The hotel had a fantastic restaurant. The staff member who checked us in gave us a 25% saving voucher which was brilliant. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and very thoughtful.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Camden

Located in Center City Philadelphia, 87 metres from Independence Hall, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia features a rooftop lounge overlooking the Liberty Bell. Free WiFi access is offered.

The Monaco Kimpton is in Old Town, located right opposite Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell Museum and just along from the metro and bus stops. A walk up Chestnut Street will lead you right into the heart of Philly. It's a lovely city with great architecture spanning the centuries and is easy to get around. The Art Museum is a World's Best, it really is. Buses and Metro are contactless. The staff at the Monaco are a delight; friendly, obliging and extremely helpful. Free wine at 5.00pm in the lovely guest lounge. Our room decor was a little crazy (we woke to a bloody great peacock on the wallpaper) but that's OK, it was well appointed with good toiletries, plenty of hanging space, excellent bed, a very large bathroom, fridge, safe etc. Breakfasts are excellent but if you book "breakfast included" see my comment below... There are some nice restaurants and bars in Old Town, and don't be put off if they seem a bit shabby on the outside, it's an old district that's safe to walk around. An excellent stay in a smashing hotel. Thanks to everyone.

The staff was nice especially in restaurant.

The staff was nice especially in restaurant. River view was great. Did not like the fact that u had to pay for parking when they had their own fenced in parking lot right behind the building. Already paid for room. Parking should have been included.
