Enthusiastic thumbs up: 2 very clean sparkling pools - the large one 82 degrees, the med-size at 92 degrees (ahhhh) and one indoor mineral hot spa, lots of towels available in pool area and room. Mineral water dispensers around to fill up to your heart's content, lovely spacious King (room 210), refillable toiletries from Malin & Goetz, two cans in room for trash and recyclables, adorable 50's style electric kettle and aqua mini-fridge, interesting instant pour-over bags of Vietnamese coffee, excellent layered room lighting, friendly thoughtful reception service at the front desk - Rocky, David, Jose. We found a lovely birthday card for hubby Bob in the room with a discount for two slices of pie at House of Better on the premises. Sadly, no pie that day but we got muffins. Nice breakfast of avocado toast and egg muffin (not included in room price, though).

The location of the hotel was within walking distance of downtown Calistoga. The rooms themselves were in good working order and were well cleaned. Also was really impressed with the niceness of the staff.

Cute retro motor lodge with nice looking restaurant on site. The pool was nice and the room was large. Nice robes were provided. Beds and pillows were comfy. I like that you are dog friendly even though I had no dog. Pool was nice.

The breakfast looked amazing indeed, however, we did not partake due to our early departure for an appointment some 120 miles north. The room was spacious and the bathroom was magnificent! I love a quality large bathroom to be able to move around in. The shower in room 11 is wonderful. Comfortable bed and hi-tech fireplace too!

The hotel is lovely if you're looking to relax for a couple of days in nature, enjoy some good wine, bask in the quiet, and indulge in quality service. The hotel's restaurant is superb, and the spa is quite enjoyable.

The place was beautiful and clean. When I booked, I was already in town and the owners were quick sending all the instructions and preparing the room. Everything worked perfectly, the hot water, the spa tub… also, they gave a breakfast voucher with a very fair amount in a nice place. It couldn’t be better!

The Host "Lani" was so sweet. The Inn is on a beautiful property. I enjoyed the vintage/rustic decor in our unit.
Wonderful place! We can't wait to come again 🙂

Maybe a little far from Napa or Sonoma but the place it's worthwhile a visit

Old Faithful was fun to see.
Old Faithful was fun to see. We also went to the Petrified Forest, which was amazing to see those trees. We had Thai food in town. Do a couples mud bath/massage at Doc Wilkinsons. Been in business for 70 years. And not to miss is Buster's BBQ. His hot sauce will literally bring tears to your eyes, in a good way. Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent too. We got beef ribs and tri tips. Super yummy.

We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years.
We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes good and not so good ( prices at our favorite Spa doubled ) but none have kept us away. We found a few hotels with mineral water pools that are reasonably priced. It's a wonderful town, the people that live and work here are friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe in Calistoga. We always go to Soo Yuan Restaurant at least once a stay. We miss the mexican restaurant that was next to Cal Mart. Most of the time we get take home food from Cal Mart, it's always great . We nearly always walk to town, but if not, we have never had trouble finding parking - there are plenty of public parking lots and public restrooms.

Calistoga is a beautiful town with many hotels that have mineral water pools. Very easy to get around. Best restaurant in town is at The Calistoga Inn. I would avoid The Mount View Inn as it needs a lot of repair/remodeling (and I do like older historic buildings).
There are a lot of interesting shops, hiking, biking, etc.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. Our hotel was in walking distance of everything we needed and wanted. Amazing spa treatments. Delicious wine and food. Quaint shops great atmosphere, friendly people. Everything was spectacular.
We had a great stay at the motor lodge. The staff were so friendly and helpful, ready with recomendations and suggestions and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The decoration is modern and fun, and very comfortable. The lodge is a short walk from downtown Calistoga and in a very calm area so no disruption from external noises at any time. Lots of nice hikes close by and easy walk to some wineries! The restaurant is delicious and the facilities are great! Hope to enjoy more of the spa and pool next time
Nicely redone (aesthetically) mid-century hotel. Great pool options with plenty of lounger availability - cool and warm pools outside are nice and the hot pool (covered but open-air) is very hot and quiet/private. The on-site restaurant (House of Better) has lots of delicious options, both healthy and indulgent. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the level of service is relatively casual. Great location, walkable to everything downtown Calistoga has to offer.
Excellent service and excellent massages at the spa.
When I checked in the hostess (Valerie) was so welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities of a larger hotel. A small patio with with a fireplace and tables was available in the evening and my stay included a complimentary breakfast as well as cookies and coffee available all day on the patio. The room was small, but this is an Inn, not a major hotel chain! It was charming and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Very conveniently located close to Lincoln, the main street of Calistoga. Restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions within easy walking distance. However, the property is right on Highway 29 and our room was at the front of the property next to the highway. Thus, there was a lot of traffic noise. There are other rooms which might have been less noisy. The garden area was surprisingly large and many areas for semi-private enjoyment away from the traffic side of the property.
Nicole is the BEST asset that Brannan Cottage has. She handled every detail of our trip- from planning a truly memorable milestone birthday(s) experience for myself and my husband, a welcome bottle of wine and birthday card. Even a little glitch with the TV was fixed immediately by Nicole herself. The accommodations were immaculate, beautiful and comfortable. Suggestions for restaurants, wineries were met with multiple suggestions and reviews. It was a fabulous birthday get-away
Everything was perfect. The property was clean, inviting and spacious. We came down to Calistoga for our anniversary and the hosts Lynn and Gregg did not disappoint. The place was absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Lynn truly has thought of everything you could possibly need. The breakfast was 2nd to none, expertly designed and delicious too. Giving this B&B 5 stars would be below what I’d like to give which would be 10 out of 10 stars.
The area is very quiet for a tourist town. The hotel is kept very clean, bed was super comfy and hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and we were grateful for that especially since most hotels ended onsite breakfasts. Downtown was a short walk away with alot of restaurants and shops to choose from, and the weather was beautiful! Numerous wineries in the area too.
Beautiful little cottage that has been upgraded into a gorgeous little hotel. The rooms were clean, with incredible attention to detail (heated toilet seat and bathroom floors!). Bed was comfy. Customer service was impeccable. Location was good - walking distance to Calistoga (spas, restaurants) and a short drive to Napa and the wineries. Highly, highly recommend.
I was pleasantly happy with the hotel. I was only there for one night but would so go back. The location was perfectly situated near downtown Calistoga. There was a restaurant we walked to across the street. The room was super clean and the bathroom had amenities already set up on the walls near sink(soap/lotion) and in the shower(shampoo/conditioner/shower gel).
The service was very nice, the location in the town of Calistoga was great with everything being walkable. The breakfast was decent and gave some options to start the day. The room was really spacious and included a good size bed, bathroom, a sitting area and kitchenette. It wasn't the most modern look and feel but it a nice extra for the price.
The room was very spacious with a huge bathroom and shower. The decor was cool with a four poster bed and fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. Great location right in Calistoga with wonderful restaurants walking distance. There are beautiful shade trees on the property.
Very nice Hotel in an wonderful area. Best Continental Breakfast I ever had. Also they look on the environment. Real tableware and cutlery (no plastic). Delicious chocolate chips cookies. Very clean and an amazing view from the pool. A few steps from downtown Calistoga.
Great staff and amenities, very clean, well maintained with a nice pool, two jacuzzis and a spa with a very good masseuse named Sadie. The hotel is close to downtown and provides free bikes to use as well. Definitely a place we'd like to stay at again.
thé reception snd owner were absolutely wonderful ! so helpful and very pleasant . Fantastic gardens . very comfortable bed with lovely bedding. very clean snd perfect central place in town . the pools were brilliant and spa fantastic !
Spacious suite. Location right on the main street in Calistoga. Walk to all the restaurants and shops. Relaxing pool area with “Happy Hour” wines. They bring a continental breakfast to your room in the morning at your preferred time.
So crisp and clean. Close enough to walk into town. Spacious rooms with comfy bed, crisp sheets and nice towels. The breakfast was complimentary and bountiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The property mainly used mineral water for its pools, showers and in room spas. Complimentary bike rentals are a plus and it’s a a great walk to the Main Street and other restaurants:properties.
Everything! Great value/price, super comfy bed, fireplace in the room is a charming touch, rooms are spacious, and Ellen and the Staff at the hotel are so kind and helpful.
Help staff at hotel registration was very nice, friendly, engaged, and made our trip more wonderful by giving us his opinion of other places to visit in Calistoga.
