We liked having a larger room. Everything seemed clean. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Lots of places to sit outside-really nice. Easy walk next door to food and a full service restaurant. Service staff at the restaurant were very kind and friendly. Food came quickly. They were not upset that we came just 30 minutes before closing. Hotel was located right outside park. Great for a family needing extra space with adult size children.

Facilities were clean and comfortable, refurbishment was not to our taste (dark carpets) but acceptable given rustic setting. Very good wi-fi, which was essential for us. Beautiful location.

The staff was great! We ate in the restaurant, it was awesome. Our server was very helpful and friendly and the food was good. There was a two piece jazz band playing that added a nice atmosphere.

The cabin was perfect. We stayed the night before we planned to enter Yosemite, the cabin was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for my wife, me, and our adult daughter. We ate dinner on the patio of the cafe, the food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Be aware that Buck Meadows is quite a distance from the entrance to Yosemite. Once you're at the entrance, the mail Yosemite Village from which many hikes depart is another 20-30 minutes. That is also where several eating establishments and a grocery are located.

It was a beautiful piece of property but we were told we would have a garden view and be on the first floor. We were on the first floor but still had to carry our luggage up 7 or 8 stairs. The view was of the dusty driveway and parked cars. There was a common fridge on the porch but none in the room. There was no microwave. The place was old and dirty and musty. I would never return.

Location was ideal.
Location was ideal. Away from the business of Yosemite Valley, Evergreen, Hetch Hetchy, and Rush Creek, although there is great short distance access to all those areas. Fall colors were beautiful and nature abounds. We enjoyed Grade A+ meals at the Yosemite Room in Yosemite Lodge, the Ahwahnee Hotel, Rush Creek Tavern, and Evergreen. Hiking and enjoying nature was great. Tuolumne and Merced Rivers were beautiful.

We absolutely loved our experiences.
We absolutely loved our experiences. We were there in May & experienced snow, sleet, rain & sunshine all over 3 days. The falls were spectacular & we were lucky to experience them shrouded in cloud one day & with blue skies the next. Love the mystery of the park.
Amazing location. Close proximity to Yosemite National Park
Loved the relaxed feel to the place.
Rooms were a great size
Lovely bathroom
On site shop was great and not extortionately priced.
Restaurant and the sports bar were great - food was spot on too
Games room was a welcome addition!
Lovely, spacious lounge area
Great that the pool was 24/7 and never got too full
S’mores in the evening for a couple of hours
The whole resort - simply stunning!
It was right outside the entrance to Yosemite. It had everything we needed and we could have just spent our two days there at the lodge. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Customer service is a huge commodity that is rare these days but can make a world of difference for repeat business. Loved having a large pool and two hot tubs that were accessible past 10 pm.
Picked up coffee & breakfast to go at the very well stocked general store. The pool was fantastic. Used the activity room twice and loved it. My 5yo loved the play area. Restaurant was great. Reservations filled up but getting food to go worked well. The books and games in the room were an awesome detail. Proximity to the oark is fantastic. One of our best short vacations.
The room was exactly what we wanted, no more and no less. The fact that the "kitchenette" was separate from the sleeping area was an added plus. We loved the riverside view. Coffee out on the deck each morning was delightful. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Near the Hetch Hetchy area of Yosemite Park. Beautiful hikes and waterfalls!
Lovely little cabin, cosy but suited us. Staff were very helpful with providing bbq equipment as there are many bbqs scattered around the grounds. Very relaxing surroundings and a visit to rainbow pools is a must! 50 ish mins to yosemite valley and recommend getting there for sunrise! Our favourite stop on our california road trip so thank you :)
Cozy place, the owners were nice. We got to the place late night and nobody was at the reception however they let an envelop at the entrance with our reservation and key room, that was a nice and gesture, so we could check in next day.
The location was ideal , and a restaurant was also near to breakfast.
Beautiful facilities and really well designed resort, perfect for the location near Yosemite. Dinner was really good food. Having the laundry and general store on site was very helpful too. Kids loved the family s’mores packs
This place is so cute!!! We have always stopped here to eat on our way to Yosemite and have always been impressed by the food, the beauty of the facility, the great staff and the little coffee shop/store.
The hotel is amazing (the rooms with balcony seeing the pool) It has a great aura! we enjoyed the pool, gameroom and marshmallow in fire place :) You can enjoy spa after a tiring day in Yosemite.
Close to Yosemite. Great family atmosphere. Loved chatting with the owners. We enjoyed the BBQ overlooking the river and the rooms were very comfortable!
Close to Yosemite National park, nice by the River. Ice on site for free. Coffee free and clean room. Let us cook using camping stove on site. Nice staff
