Rooms were spacious, well laid out and very clean, sofa was comfortable and the amenities were very well suited to a young family. The on site laundry was a great bonus, $1.50 per wash or dry load made it very easy and affordable to clean clothes on our road trip.

Barstow was a great stopover for us after having flown to LA from Australia, en route to Las Vegas. It was a pleasant town, easy to walk around, safe, and had a great Route 66 museum for car enthusiasts.
Panda Express was a great takeaway option for a meal.

We were travelling from the Pacific Grove area back to Phoenix. Going thru Barstow was GREAT. Missed all that BS Los Angeles traffic! And the expressways were in decent shape and not too busy! If I ever go back to the SF area I'll use the Barstow route. Stayed at the Quality Inn (a surprisingly good experience.)

The city is full of beautifull wall paintings and things that remind you the historic root 66. Everything was like stuck in the past that gave you the feeling of diving into the history of the city. On the other hand, the city seemed a little abandomed. People walking around were not the friendliest looking I have ever seen...

A Mexican restaurant, Jenny's Grill, was open for dinner until 7 PM and within walking distance. It was very good and frequented to full capacity by the local population. I did not see much of Barstow.

I just pass by here and stay one night.
I just pass by here and stay one night. There is not too much in Barstow. I guess only one Route 66 museum which was closed during my day visit (it only opens from Friday to Sunday). Additionally, there is a Mojave museum where you can get 4 passport stamps for your National Park Passport.
Room was lovely, comfy & clean with plenty of room.
Amenities around hotel fantasic, restaurants & shopping outlet.
Check in was quick & simple even though we were early.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious with so much variety, waffle making was so much fun.
Decor around the hotel was warm and inviting.
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. Fully laminate or tile floors (no carpet) were a huge plus. A remodel of the rooms has happened recently, and they were nice. Bed was super comfy. Dog friendly rooms with a small pet fee. Great breakfast spread (better than most 3-star chain hotels).
I was very pleased with the overall experience. Well beyond my expectations. It had everything I was looking for and I felt I was staying at a very nice place. I will definitely return to this location or join the Hilton membership program. I will make an extra effort to seek out this chain of hotels.
It is a fine motel on the main drive in Barstow. For one or two night sleep it was great, rooms were cosy and very clean, fine pool. It was great that we could use washing and drying machines and we had an iron in our room. Breakfast was rather below average.
We are been in a road trip for 2 weeks now and this hotel is been by far the best we staying. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and the BEST
complementary breakfast ever, we loved it
Rooms were well-equipped and hotels had nice amenities such as a full free breakfast, exercise room, and pool. We encountered a couple issues during our stay but the staff were very attentive and immediately resolved these.
Staff members were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the AC worked as expected. There are sections of the hotel under construction. I don't consider it a negative, rather an investment in the future.
Clean and comfy accomodation when you are on the road and all you need is a clean bed, shower and working wifi. Food outlets around the corner. Polite and professional staff. Easy parking.
Great location. There is a good restaurant at the hotel lobby. Near to gas station and other restaurants too.
The staffs are so kind. I really appreciate their kindness :)
We really liked the friendly owner and the location of the hotel. For anyone driving Route 66, it's ideal. We have stayed here before and We will be back.
