Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.
Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.
The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.
The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

Baltimore has become a really clean, vibrant city with plenty of night life and great restaurants. The downtown harbor area is lovely. We usually whizz through but plan on spending more time here in the future to try the restaurants and take in the sights.

It had been 30 yrs since our last visit on business travel. It has really changed. There is construction everywhere including proposed future demolition of shops at Inner Harbor. If you drive be prepared to pay high hotel parking fees, lots of traffic and parking issues. If not, be prepared to do lots of walking and use public Charm free buses.

I did my residency in Bmore and lived there for 6 years, so perhaps that is why it is not my favorite. There are areas that are quite “charming” but then others that are quite scary. The drug scene is still raging and they need to offer better programs to aid the homeless. Great healthcare and graduate programs at University of Maryland/Shock Trauma. There are decent restaurants, but it’s sad that so many of the ones I loved are now closed. I don’t mind traveling there now for work, but I would probably never live there again.

Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great.
Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great. Not enough time to explore, plan on staying 2 days next time. Found other attractions later missed seeing. Will be back. Will look for a hotel closer as well. Got to see the Perivian ship that was docked in the harbor for free.

The stay was awful.
The stay was awful. Lost our reservation and gave it to another guest, we were supposed to have a harbor view and got a view of a brick wall. The bathroom in the room was filthy and there was a hairy bar of used soap left in the shower. Our AMEX had attempted charges every night for hundreds of dollars, after paying in full at check in along with incidentals. I was told it was an accounting error. We were supposed to get a refund for our experience, which has still not happened. There are signs, and even a special elevator for a rooftop bar that doesn't exist. Terrible experience, will never stay there again.

Baltimore was fun.
Baltimore was fun. We were there for the Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks concert. There was also the MLB Playoffs for the orioles against the Texas Rangers this weekend. There were tons of people out and lots to do. We went to the National Aquarium which I highly recommend. As we were leaving there was an armed robbery next to us lol. Just be careful if you go here.
This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Lobby and bar are lovely. Rooms are exceptionally well-designed. Super close to Lexington Market for great food and the streetcar and subway are both within 2 blocks. Easy walk to Inner Harbor. And an incredible value for the price. Every little thing from shampoos to luggage storage was thoughtfully designed and well executed. I could not be happier and I will definitely stay here again.
We loved this hotel! Convenient location (we walked to the Baltimore Soundstage) and it was nice having the parking garage right across from the hotel. The Little Italy area was really pretty and right in between Fells Point and Inner Harbor. The rooms were a nice size and had everything we needed for the weekend, including a mini fridge! Very clean and I really liked the soaps/hair products dispensers in the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly too!
The hotel is very clean and the staff is wonderful. Its location is very desirable and provides super easy access to the inner harbor. You’re right in the middle of the action, yet it’s quiet in the rooms. The lobby is very aesthetically pleasing and the hotel has a friendly and trendy vibe.
The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms feel more spacious than rooms of most hotels feel
Very clean. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Building is lovely. There is a free afternoon snack offered in the dining area, which we did not use. Breakfast has typical hotel breakfast offerings and I really appreciate having fresh fruit available. Coffee was decent.
Location is convenient for walking to Inner Harbor. We walked from Penn Station to the hotel.
The staff, especially the front desk manager Rob and maintains maintenance staff Mike, was incredibly accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. The weekday breakfast was wonderful and well prepared. The pool area was clean with plenty of towels. The hotel was very close to the convention center and within walking distance to the inner harbor.
Location to freeways, quiet property near other hotels. Clean parking lot, housekeeping comes daily if needed. It’s my go-to hotel when I head to Baltimore. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Inner Harbor. Many food options are sprouting up near the area which is nice if you want to stay near the hotel. Free breakfast every day
Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
Only negative is the the hotel is not as close to Inner Harbor or other attractions as advertised. Overall it was an enjoyable stay in Baltimore.
the hotel was nice, beautiful old building, staff was friendly, room was spacious and comfortable and good free breakfast. walking distance to the aquarium, but that's all that's left in the Inner Harbor now. We chose it to be near to Soundstage for a gig.
Location is perfect... central Baltimore near Johns Hopkins and Loyola Universities, Whole Foods in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Roland Park area of the city. Nearby restaurants include Petit Louis, Johnny's and Miss Shirleys.
The place smell really bad, the place was dirty, I had to book another hotel shortly after checking into this because it was soo bad, I just wasted my money couldn’t stay for a night I hated everything
location next to the Inner Harbor and bar area with easy check-in and check out process. Also felt safe with mask mandate, which was enforced. Hotel staff were very friendly too.
The property was closed. We had to book another hotel as we were stranded abroad, I tried to contact customer service and sent a message and we are still yet to hear from you.
the room was fine the location was a short walk to the inner harbor not alot of places close to eat and the hotel restaurant was just chicken which was weird
