We only went to Disneyland. The Riviera Hotel was about a 3/4 mile walk from the security gates at Disneyland/California Adventure. That is a bit of a walk but closer hotels cost much more. For a place to sleep and shower, the Riviera was a good value.

We only visited Disneyland while we were in Anaheim so I cannot comment too much about the area. There is a Costco in Fullerton, nearby, with gas, and that was convenient since we drove from Las Vegas.

It was just a 4.2 mile drive from the Days Inn to the five-story parking lot at Disneyland for day pass holders, which offers a comfortable train-like shuttle, both arriving and departing, between the parking structure and Disneyland's front gate.
We also enjoyed dining at the "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company" restaurant, at 321W. Katella Ave., Suite 101, Anaheim, CA 92802. Located about a half-mile from Disneyland, it's got great, moderately-priced seafood, and burgers, etc., especially if you get a bowl of Gumbo.
And, there are cool pix on the walls from the famous movie, Forest Gump, that it was designed to mimic. And friendly waiters too!
I booked this room because it was near Disneyland and it included breakfast , but as soon as I checked in I was told no breakfast was offered I said why don't you say that when booking , he said I can go to another hotel if I wanted , I said it's after 10:00 pm . I was really disappointed. I had brought cereal for my daughter for the next morning and had no milk. the room was clean , and close to Disneyland.
The location is great! A 15-minute walk from Disneyland Resort. The room is cheap, which makes the price-quality ratio very good. The owner is also very friendly and helpful. Starbucks around the corner as well as a supermarket and some restaurants. A very good accommodation for a cheap but good stay near Disneyland.
This hotel is a great value near Disneyland. Being within walking distance to several restaurants is a bonus. The room was super quiet. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Guest laundry was excellent. Parking is free and right in front of the room. The hotel is two stories high.

The beds were comfortable and the motel was conveniently located near Disneyland. The buffet breakfast at the Garden Bistro was expensive but delicious. The service is excellent. The motel is noticeably understaffed; however, the staff who are on duty are attentive and patient.
The hotel is very near Disneyland and made it very easy to get to and from the park each day. The room was modest, but was enough for my family of four. Our room had a good sized fridge and microwave which made it easy to store and reheat leftovers and snacks.
The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to the Convention Center and the world renowned Disneyland in Anaheim. Staff is attentive and accommodating. The room is clean and well arranged, which made us really relaxed during our stay.
The hotel looked nice and felt clean. For whatever reason (we suspect fall break) the Anaheim area was very busy the weekend we booked. We got a great value at this hotel when compared to other hotels near Disneyland.
Love the Ayres Hotel. Feels very homey, everything is immaculately clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were so friendly! Very close to Disneyland. Was a 6 minute Uber to the park - zero hassle.
