Located in the harbor town of Kewaunee, the Coho Motel has a boat launch, deck with a view of the harbor, and offers free WiFi. Bruemmer Park and Zoo is 3.7 mi away from the motel.

My son and I were on a “family roots” trip to the county where my grandmother was born. We had fine weather in which to explore the area, and we enjoyed Kewaunee and its people a great deal.

    The staff was great.

The staff was great. We stayed to tour the finger, and hoped to do Washington Island. If you plan ro go to Washington Island be sure to head out early. The ferry runs every hour and for 2 people with a car it's about $58. I wanted to go to the Lighthouse on the smaller island, but that ferry only runs every 2 hours. Just mind your time.

Beautiful little town. Nice get away without all the pretense of other parts of door county. Friendly people. An awesome bakery and many fine little shops. All this with an boardwalk on Lake Michigan. Nice beach..we attended the kite festival which was outstanding.

Algoma is a sweet little town we love to visit- is there a lot going on- no- that’s why we like it! It does have concerts in the park and recently cruise ships come in every other Thursday and that’s fun to watch and brings business to this lovely town. The crescent boardwalk is lovely. Algoma is close to door county and the vistas around the area are beautiful. We try to go every year!

Algoma is a fishing and boating community town on Lake Michigan, and crosses a river. It is a very nice town, good local food, and they've invested into a huge water front. It felt welcoming, would definitely stop there on my travels. It was getting late, and we were looking for lite food and ended up at the local A&W for carry out and a walk to the beach. Its worth a note - the people at the A&W were super friendly and accommodating. A shout-out for their smile and enthusiasm. Seeing we had a dog with us, they gave her a biscuit and came outside to say hello.

Nice, quiet area. Boardwalk along the beach.

Nice, quiet area. Boardwalk along the beach. Nice little diner downtown - closes at 8 (was cash only). Went to Bay Beach in Green Bay and up to Sister Bay the next day. Algoma right in the middle. Took pizza for granted back home - could not find near here.

Don't be fooled by the size of the rooms. They are comfortable and very well kept. Close to Algoma downtown. Unique check-in experience where they text you your room numbers and you can just walk in to them. Rules are mentioned on a laminated sheet of paper, placed on top of the microwave. 11 PM onwards are quiet hours which we were violating and the owner gave us a rather not so friendly reminder about it. Guilty 😅

This place was great! Across a fairly busy road from Lake Michigan but only a couple of minutes to beaches and downtown Algoma. The room was spotless and there were thoughtful touches everywhere—recycling and extra wastebaskets, a good supply of coffee pods, etc. A bonus I hadn’t read about was the beautiful prairie behind the inn—full of wildflowers and with a trail mowed through it. We will stay again!

The location is awesome, right on Lake Michigan with easy access to restaurants & local attractions in Algoma. Free Continental Breakfast is offered with coffee (that is okay) & juice, instant oatmeal, & packaged muffins & cinnamon rolls. Fire pits are located between the motel & beach but firewood is only available at an extra cost. The staff was nice & accommodating.

It's a minute from many restaurants and the lake! I am a very clean person and hate staying in hotels because I have high standards, especially now having small children. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, and will be staying here next time in algoma.
