Alexandria appeared to be a small and safe city with a relaxing vibe right outside of Washington, D.C. We spent most of our time touring D.C. Staying in Alexandria allowed us to stay in a relaxing place after spending tourist time in the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city.

This was my second stay here in a week, my husband is in rehab close by so I went home and came back.
All of the staff are helpful and friendly. Stacey went above and beyond, he put me in the same room which was closest to the door and elevator. He asked about my husband by name each time I saw him. Thank you Stacey!

Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit!
Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit! It's set up to be friendly to tourists, but it doesn't feel kitschy or fake. There are a lot of independent local shops and wonderful restaurants. I didn't have a single bad meal the entire time I was there, and most of the restaurants have outdoor seating, including with heat and covering in poor weather. The Torpedo Factory art center is incredible! Alexandria is also very walkable, though the brick pavement is a little uneven, and public transit is free. I've visited three or four times now and plan to go back often!

Overall the stay was good.
Overall the stay was good. Parking may be a bit difficult during heavy traffic however aside from my time of arrival I did not park until after midnight each day and was able to easily get a spot just a few steps away.
The backyard seemed nice but since it was winter and snowed during my stay I didn't not utilize the yard.
The house was clean and everything functioned as expected. When staying at a private property there's typically a welcome note that points out some key things, this property did not have that.
My communication with the property management was easy and my questions were answered quickly.
Since my trip was to attend an event at the National Harbor I do not have anything to add about Alexandria as a destination.

We stayed here because we drove and they offered free parking on site. Since Sept. 1, parking is $10 per night, still not bad compared to most hotels offering no parking at all. The Metro is about 3 blocks down Eisenhower Blvd and efficiently gets one to DC primary locations. We ate at a Bison Grill in a center across from the Metro station...pricey but good. Hotel food is minimal. We didn't explore Alexandria itself. Location was more reasonable for access to DC highlights. Would use it again..

The front desk staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful in trying to make sure I was comfortable. I needed a handicap room which wasn't on my reservation, and they made sure that I got one.
They make fresh baked cookies that you can smell while they are baking in the evening which was an absolute wonderful touch.
The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave.
I must say it was a really comfortable room and I wish I could have enjoyed it for another couple days, but I will look forward to returning.
The hotel is a good option for those who need a road-side hotel near Old Town Alexandria and the Huntington Metro Stop (25 min walk). Outside rush hour it also does not take too long to downtown DC. The rooms have a good size and are clean. The beds are comfortable. A coffee maker in the room and a fridge/microwave are a definite plus; so is the complimentary breakfast option.
The room was extremely clean and well organized. The bed was comfortable with 4 pillows. Staff was friendly and professional. The train station to DC is in a 3-minute walk, but the station is currenly under maintenance so there is a shuttle bus to Crystal City train station. It takes about 30-40 to get there. There are several restaurants near the hotel.
I booked this for a friend who's a boutique hotel kind of gal, so having only a few suites in the building suited her well in terms of privacy and lack of foot traffic. The email from the host was detailed and included everything she needed to know - far more than just the door code and wifi password. The location in Old Town Alexandria cannot be beat!
Great location. Easy to get to waterfront, DC. Breakfast was decent, but pricey compared to better alternatives nearby. Staff was courteous & friendly. Room was fine & comfortable. Bar/happy hour food was nice. Convenient checkout time. Alexandria Old Town is a great place, especially the riverfront area
The Westin is located a short walk from the Old Town WMATA transit station. There are a bunch of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel/rooms are spotless and the staff is courteous. The food provided through the conference I attended was plentiful and tasty.
Loved the hotel. The design, the location, size of the rooms, the restaurant on the premises. The staff were nice and accommodating. Very good value for the price. Right in the heart of Alexandria, walking distance to all the main attractions, Easy access to DC.
This location is the BEST in Old Town Alexandria. We had 4 lovely rooms, super blackout draperies, great beds, pillows, toiletries. Underground parking, Hummingbird as its home restaurant and Barca just steps away on the river! Can't wait to return! Many thanks!
Great location. and very handy for all that Alexandria has to offer. Very comfortable room and the staff were most helpful. we were part of a wedding party with guests in other hotels, but the overall opinion was that we had made the best choice
everything was great : from the staff, specially the two girls at the front office and the director. Big and cute room. lovely hotel very Well located on King’s street. This is definitely the place to stay in Alexandria ! I will come back !
This is my "go-to" hotel when I am visiting the south Alexandria/Mt Vernon area. I'm always greeted by helpful and friendly desk staff and my room is always immaculate. There is plenty of well-lit parking.
Convenient location near Old Town Alexandria and DC, just off Rt 95. Efficient room and staff.
Excellent breakfast and staff that continuously cleaned and stocked the breakfast!
