What I like most was the cashier, the part that I dislike was the roaches the holes in the blanket dirty coffee maker no coffee or sugar packs in the room no garbage bags in the garbage an CBS not working on the TV so I could have seen my Alabama and Georgia game. Telephone not being able to call the front desk just very unhappy all the way around and I paid $70 for thatI have stayed in super 8 in Birmingham Alabama and it is nothing like that one

Aberdeen probably not a destination spot - close to several golf courses - adjoins Southern Pines, a quaint village atmosphere, about 10 miles from Pinehurst which is a golfing mecca! Highway US 1 very busy, one needs nerves of steel to negotiate this highway! Longhorn Steak House very good!

We go 4-5 times for the equestrian eventing shows at the North Carolina Horse Park. So I spend most of my time out there. However, dinners are in town. Nice selection of restaurants and excellent food and service. Easy to get around. Also, Aberdeen is connected to other towns so that makes for a wider range of choices.
