The lodge is a luxurious "camp" site in a Wildlife Management Area that would probably be fine to visit if booked indirectly through a tour operator. Unfortunately it seems to have affiliated with a scammy of agency in Arusha which misinforms customers about its actual location.
Africa Safari Lake Manyara located inside a wildlife park in Mto wa Mbu provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a garden.

The staff is very helpful professional and courteous. The location is perfect for Lake Manyara Park. And the food is always amazing. The shower was hot and powerful

The onwer has put so much effort on building and maintaining the property. The constrast between the interior decoration and the outside rural environment have blew up my mind

We have spent a night at Maasai Eco Boma, and honestly we regret not spending more nights here. All of the usual positive comments are here: beautiful boma and surroundings, well designed rooms with comfortable beds, tasty local food, and the friendliest staff that was always ready to help and share a couple of words and smiles.
But the thing that we liked most about this property is a warm story behind it. This Eco Boma is a shared project of the local Maasai community living in one of the underdeveloped areas of Tanzania, that use this property as a mean of improving quality of life and to preserve the culture of the entire Maasai community. Everything here is local produced from the surrounding farms. Moreover the community invests the profits from this Boma into the community. They have already built a school, with the goal to achieve better education for local children. Currently they are transferring the funds in the water collection systems, to fight the worsening effects of the climate change as well in the construction of the local clinic.
Will definitely come back, and recommend to others!
