We had an active vacation beforehand so we were grateful to find such a peaceful hotel where we could chill far away from the hustle of Stonetown or other beach hotels. We were upgraded for the first 2 days to an apartment which was really nice and cozy but then a big family booked and the hotel moved us in the last 2 days but we did not mind too much.
The Swahili night with live bbq and music was really nice. Also great value for money!
The beds are big and comfortable, the rooms are large and nicely decorated despite of the facilities which are a bit wear down or don’t work out perfectly :).
The staff were very friendly and supportive and you could feel they wanted to help you. Thank you for the take away breakfast! Thank you for making my henna tattoos possible. We really enjoyed our stay.
It was also very close to the airport and Stonetown but not as noisy ;).
The views and sunsets from the pool side make up for all the money!

We were served a two course breakfast that included a variety of fruits, with spice tea, followed by an English breakfast. I enjoyed the breakfasts and Safina staff took extra efforts to meet our needs.
We received exceptional service from Nassor, the establishment's manager, who ensured that he organised tour guides that charged reasonable rates and provided great service, he checked on us when we were out after sunset, arranged security to escort us when we went to a nearby club at night, suggested activities and great places to go. All in all, Safina made out visit to Zanzibar memorable and I am looking forward to visiting again.
