A beautiful area that has great tree-lined tea farms that is pleasant to cycle around, and during July-August has a hot air balloon festival worth checking out, plus a hotspot for paragliding. The people within the village area all seem very welcoming and friendly!
Of course, it's known for its tea, in particular Red Oolong tea, which is cultivated there's using a unique technique, and while there's not a huge choice of place she to eat you will find a few delicious and cheap local eateries to wander into.
The hard part is traveling around if you have no car ir scooter, and you can only go so far on a bicycle in the summer heat, so it's recommended to get a scooter if you can.
