Castara Villas, hotel in Speyside

Set in a secluded area just a 5-minute walk from Castara village and beach, Castara Villas is surrounded by tropical fruit trees.

The house and the location are really good. House is fully equipped for stay - everything as written, all functional. If something is broken service man come to fix it. Water is drinkable. The owner always responds quickly. People arounds are really nice and helpful. The buses from capital is going every 2 hours during the week (if the bus does not come someone give you a lift). There is a shop at the beach selling bus tickets and they have bus schedules. There is supermarket and places to eat - all restaurants cook very tasty meals. The dogs were not on the property during our stay and are not agresive.

Fabulous place, we had the flat on the first floor and the view was incredible. The flat was superb and very well equipped, perfect! The hosts were also so nice and very helpful with everything we needed, communication was brilliant and so easy. We met Marlon and were in contact with Rhonda, communication was brilliant and they were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place, it is also easy walking distance from the village center and the beach. Castara is a lovely place and there is plenty to do around. I would love to come back. Thank you Rhonda and Marlon!

Planned this get away for my fiancé and I to enjoy the scenery of Speyside. It was a relaxing week spent with a memorable staff of Blue Waters Inn. A revisit is in the near future with my children. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular.

The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular. Speyside itself is a quiet little place and quite remote, which we like, but there's not much there. Jemma's, the one restaurant that was open in Speyside, is characterful and in a great setting; but we were charged a naughty price for a very simple meal of shrimps and rice. The 'main ridge forest' is wonderful, and we had an outstanding tour focused on bird-watching with Mr Newton George, a top ornithologist and guide who lives in Speyside. Charlotteville, a pretty fishing village on the Caribbean side, is only 15 minutes drive away. Also near is Kings Bay, on the Windward side but with good bathing facilities, very few people, and beautifully sheltered.
