Its close to everything, beaches, supermarket, bus station and airport too. The dorms are very big. Lockers also included. The host is very nice and likes to talk with his guests, its a good place to stay and would stay again if I go to Tobago :)

LOCATION WAS GREAT ESPECIALLY WITH THE ACCESS TO THE SHUTTLE SERVICE WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE AIRPORT AND TWO OF THE MAIN BEACHES IN TOBAGO WITH AMPLE TIME TO HAVE BREAKFAST THEN CATCH THE SHUTTLE SERVICE AT 10:30 AM AND PICK UP AT WHICHEVER LOCATION AT 3:30PM. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS AND AMAZING WITH LITTLE CHANGES EVERYDAY SO THAT IT DOES'NT BECOME BORING. THE RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE MENU WAS GREAT WE HAD OPTIONS FOR LUNCH AND DINNER OR EVEN JUST FINGER FOODS WHICH ALL TASTED DELICIOUS AND THERE WAS ALSO A LITTLE MINI SHOP WITH ESSENTIALS, SNACKS, AND DRINKS IF NEEDED VERY CONVENIENT. STAFF SERVICE WAS GREAT FROM SHUTTLE STAFF, SECURITY STAFF, RECEPTION STAFF, LOUNGE STAFF, RESTAURANT STAFF, CLEANING STAFF AND ANY OTHER STAFF WE MET ALONG THE WAY EVERYONE WAS HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING. THERE WAS UNLIMITED COFFEE, TEA AND WATER ALWAYS AVAILABLE IN THE LOBBY WHICH WAS GREAT FOR MY CREW WE ALL LOVE COFFEE AND TEA ALL DAY LONG. ROOM WAS GREAT ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE OF US JUST NEEDED A LITTLE MORE SPACE IN THE WASHROOM AREA OR EVEN THE BEDROOM AREA FOR HANGING TOWELS AND STORING TOILETERIES ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS FOUR LADIES SHARING A SPACE.

Everything except the air condition in the loft never worked.the staff were very helpful and the owner very friendly.

Loved my experience there! I was a solo woman travelling in Tobago and the host made me feel confortable to do activities and he even found me a female driver to drive me around.

I spent my whole evening at WONKY WINDMILL
and enjoyed the food and drink there.
Can be walked to from the Airport but I suggest a taxi as roads
and pavements not always up to Western standards
and the rain can make it very tricky to navigate.
Lots of development going on but it was not noticeable
during my stay at CANDLES.

Bon accord village very peaceful and safe it’s closed to store bay and other beaches and it have a lot of activities as to a single person coming to visit wouldn’t regret it cause I had a awesome day the people was friendly and welcoming You know I left my bag with personal things in public to go about in the water etc and receive it back with everything and that’s a plus. I have to plan for next trip for a longer time.. thanks mr. Andrew for letting stay at his comfortable place and he’s so friendly considering and I’m in stay hands staying at candles in the wind..
