The setting was beautiful and the hotel was exquisite. I loved that this hotel is modern, bright and airy with the most incredible views of the bay. The staff were absolutely amazing. Yalikavak was easy to get too - good shopping and lovely places to eat near the new harbour (not referring to the very expensive restaurants at the new harbour)

Yalikavak felt like any popular, pricey, crowded, beach resort town anywhere in the world. The Aegean is spectacular but difficult to access without a boat. "Beaches" are usually narrow strips of wood decks or piers with lots of chaise lounges and umbrellas packed tightly together, with minimum spending requirements (600 - 800 TL as of July 2022). We opted for a 300TL, 7 hour boat tour that took us to a number of beautiful coves and exceeded our expectations!

The marina is a beautiful place for walking and shopping. A nice mix of top end restaurants and cafes. It tends to get a bit crowded during the weekends and taxis are hard to come by. Luckily it is just a short walk from the hotel.

Lots of restaurants along the prom with amazing views of the sunset. Everyone was friendly and not at all pushy. Lots of fresh fish available. Good selection of supermarkets. Everything you need in the resort but easy access to Bodrum on the dolmus which is definitely worth a visit. The marina with the super yachts is worth a look but has not spoilt the resort or increased the cost of the local restaurants.

The people are extremely friendly. The beaches are good and you don't have to pay for sunbeds if you use the facilities of the restaurants. The beach boys are extremely helpful and provide waiter service on the beach. The area is unspoiled and quiet.

If you need to stay and relax and have opulance, this is the place. One stop shop. Restaurant perfect with amazing sunset. What more can you ask for. We just used the yellow taxi for transportation safe and cheaper.
The location of the place is great - 5 min drive or 30 min walk to Yalikavak Marina, close to some excellent dining venues in the vicinity. The accommodation was spacious, clean, modern and really well designed. Part of the beach used by guests of Dplaj Rezidans was very well groomed every morning and beautifully attended by the staff of Villa Azur.
Villa Azur has got very good menu with plentiful choices for breakfast and lunch or snacks on the beach. Great presentation of food!
The hotel is clean and within easy access (on foot) to two private beaches (Magi and Sand and Salt, personally I preferred the second one), as well (on foot - 30 minutes or by car - 5 minutes) to the marina.
I would say this is a relatively comfortable boutique hotel, the personnel is nice, but the way it functions could be improved (but this is on the management team not on the personnel).
The food at the hotel’s restaurant is very tasty.
From the moment you arrive till the last moment before you leave, you’ll be treated very special with the amazing team that works there.
Friendly, helpful and professional, also the very small details it has been taken care of.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating especially receptionist Selvi. The property is gorgeous and the pool and beach are so beautiful. Pictures don’t do justice how amazing the design of the hotel is! Enjoyed that it was small and cozy. Everyone was so helpful and made sure to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Also the rooms are very large, lots of space.

wow! everything! the suites were very big, comfortable and nice. very nice staff, always wants to help. food was amazing- 5 stars no less. the hotel itself have everything you need, the resort is amazing, amazing spa, you can rent jet ski’s and stuff like that.
Great location...staff so friendly...Yalikavak is not really a holiday location at this time of year as many places are not yet open so would have been lovely if the hotel had a residence lounge so you could sit and read a book when the sun wasn't out.
