Spectacular place. Big cave like room with arch ceiling entirely made of raw stone. Huge bed and very big fantastic bathroom. Spacious. Wooden floor with Turkish carpets. Comfy and quiet. Terrace like place in front with amazing views on whole valley. Very good breakfast. Restaurant , bar, sofas to chill and have a drink with breathtaking views in the evening. Fridge, hair dryer, all amenities. The town is charming too. Not crowded. Very local. Not destroyed by mass tourism. This hotel definitely has character. So unique. Perfect base for visiting Cappadocia. And the most important. People who run it are amazing. Smiley, easy going and always willing to help. Unforgettable. Will be back for sure. Very nice place where to stay few days if you want to visit the area of Ihlara valley.
Pay attenti that the address and name of hotel is not the same of BOOKING.. there is something wrong in the info so don’t forget to contact them to receive the exactly position.
They sent us to me before I asked them.
So, when you arrive at this address the hotel is abandoned but don’t worry because the place is the one of the photos and it is nice.. many rooms and beautiful. There is a good restaurant where your can have a good dinner as around there there are not much places where eat.
The owner parked the car for me and showed us all things about the place.

I only stayed one night wish I'd have stayed longer to enjoy more of the facilities.
The staff at grand altuntaş were very polite and helpful, my room was very big for one person and they provided everything (toiletries, tea, coffee, water etc) in the room. I had some lovely views of Aksaray and breakfast was a wide range of things to choose from. Would definitely stay again
