I liked that my hotel was in the middle of several tourist attractions. There were lots of local restaurants with authentic traditional meals to choose from. The shopping area were excellent. The Spice Bazaar. The Grand Bazaar. Jewelery stores.
Perfume shops. Spice shops. Coffee shops. Handbage, clothes and shoe shops. Turkish Delights (pastry and sweets). Cambios/change shops. There was also a great variety of street vendors.

We did a lot of walking - down the stairs and up the stairs, this part of town had lot of hills so you needed good shoes and steady feet. If you like coffee and sweet cakes, you have many choices to make! Also, if you like cats, you see them everywhere. I think they keep the mice away :) The weather was really nice, not too hot because it was still early April. All the people in the restaurants and cafés were really friendly. The price level was higher than we expected.

The location of the hotel was excellent.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was a short walk to the tram stops which take you to the "old city". Buying a tram ticket was not easy requiring help from the locals. You can use a credit card to buy a ticket but only a MasterCard. Visa does not work?
I really enjoyed the Hop-on Hop-Off bus for a three hour tour of the city and immediate surrounds. It was hard to identify where the bus stops. One thing to be remembered you can only buy a ticket online and not when you catch the bus.
Istanbul is a great walking city and walking across the bridge to the "old city" was enjoyable.
As a solo traveller the Galata MGallery Hotel provided recommendation to a restaurant that provided pick up and drop off to their location.
The food in Istanbul is excellent.

It’s a beautiful city avoid going on holiday dates as the city is over crowded and traffic can be bad. But amazing city and the people very friendly and helpful. If you wish to move around by taxi use Uber as the fare is good. Free taxi drivers can take advantage as there is no meter in the taxi. If you don’t have Uber negotiate the fare before getting in the taxi.

Amazing city, so much to see.
Amazing city, so much to see. Lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants. Worth buying a travel card that you can use on buses, ferries and metro. Be prepared for lots of walking if you want to see as much of the city as you can. Amazing shopping, much cheaper than other parts of Turkey.
We had a wonderful stay here! We received a room upgrade, which really made our stay. The room was fantastic and had a wonderful bathroom/balcony, which were extremely spacious. The spa was lovely, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Istanbul. There was a free shuttle available which needs pre booking, however we were happy to pay for a taxi to Taksim square, which was only a few euros. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to family/friends!
Outstanding! The hotel is within walking distance from the centre, there are about ten rooms in total, in a neighbourhood very close to Taksim Square and Istklal street. I am a girl student and I came alone to visit Istanbul and look for an Erasmus flat while I was staying at Taksim Pandora Residence.
The owners are very helpful, any request was fulfilled in record time, the rooms were always clean and had everything I needed to stay comfortably, as in my case.
Incredible location just off Taksim Square and Istiklal, but on a quiet side street with no noise or safety issues at all. The hotel is only 4 months old, so very clean and well furnished. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, particularly Rob, he was fantastic. The 7th floor terrace has one of the best views of Istanbul and Taksim, and lots of space - it worked well for a quick workout or yoga session!
great location nice size room close to everything. we hopped off the bus from Istanbul airport spent one night here and
caught bus to the Asian side Airport which is a 5 min walk away(both busses stop at the same spot). the hotel is in a quite area and Taksim square is just around the corner, great spot to do some exploring. the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating like most hosts in Turkiye
The hotel is nice and the personel is very kind and helpful, the best of the stay! I liked the breakfast assortment. The location is perfect, 2 minutes by walking from Sultanahmet tram station and Hagia Sophia. I chose the transfer option from/to the airport. It's not cheap but it was really comfortable, I don't regret it at all.
I will definitely repeat when I go back to Istanbul!
The hotel is located nearby Taksim square, a nice start to explore Istanbul. The staff is really friendly and helpfull A++
From Istanbul airport you could take a taxi to the hotel for around 700-800 Lira. They don`t offer breakfast but have coffee, coockies, water and some fruits available in the lobby. Around the hotel are plenty of restaurants where you can have your breakfast.
Very good location very close to tram station and ferry port. Many good restaurants and cafes nearby. We liked the breakfast. We will use this hotel in future. Good value for money. You do not need luxury 5 stars hotel in Istanbul as you
spend most of your time exploring beautiful Istanbul. You will only need clean and comfortable accommodation with good location.
The hotel was great.
Just 5 mins walk to Taksim square
The breakfast spread was pretty good, quite a number of options for vegetarians too.
The staff is fab, very warm, friendly and always at your service. Special shout out to Yunus and Ozcan for lending the Istanbulcart, it came handy to us.
Rooms are big, spacious and clean
The location is just great, few steps to the middle of the main street in Istanbul (Istiklal), between the famous Galata Tower and Taksim Square.
The Suite had a beautiful view on Istanbul until the Bosphorus. It was enough big and clean for a very comfortable stay.
The Hotel Manager and the Staff were very kind and helpful.
The hotel and the rooms were so clean , the staff were very friendly and helpful they even gave us an extra hour after the check out , I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone I know it’s one of the best hotels I stayed in Istanbul even tho it’s not 5 stars better then some 5 stars I have stayed in here.
Hotel was very clean and in good condition. Location was very good and close to Taksim square where you can catch up Airport buses. Breakfast was delicious and service staff was friendly .I recommend this hotel for tourists who wanna to enjoy Istanbul visits in terms of price, location and service.
Fantastic rooms, best boutique hotel in Istanbul. Views to die for and breakfast of a 5 star level.
Staff are super friendly and always will help with anything at all. Would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you Ahmed and Doruk Palas for an amazing stay. Will remember for a long time.
Hotel was well decorated, and we loved the quirky style. The service was excellent as well, and I loved the chocolatier on the bottom floor as well. Hotel was located in a very walkable part of Istanbul near Taksim Square, making it very easy to get around. Loved staying here!
Excellent hotel experience at the Fox.
7 minutes walk from Taksim square
Great service, clean, very friendly staff, very kind and very helpful.
They were extremely helpful in many ways during our stay for a week.
Highly recommended for a beautiful stay in Istanbul!
I like location of the hotel there’s located in Taksim square and easy to go everywhere beside their staff is so helpful and so kind. I’m mostly stay in this hotel when I visited Istanbul. AsI mention before the location is perfect !
One pf the finest hotels in istanbul.
Near taksim square, car parking, spacious room that even have a travel adapter and iron for it guests that most of the hotels here doesn’t, and a nice back yard that also has hookah.
top hotel!! 5 stars best reception service ever and so friendly! just 10min from metro station in not tourist area Asian side of Istanbul. Would 100% come back! they do everything to make your stay comfortable!
It is 2-3 min away from Taksim square.
The staff are really kind and good.
It is a really good hotel to stay in istanbul if you are looking for a hotel to just have a breakfast and sleep in it.
The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, 5 mins to Taksim square. You can reach there by any public transport. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out was easy.
I only like the location which is main tourist attractions in Istanbul, which is Taksim square, nothing more expect from this hotel whole stay in this hotel.
