The location was excellent and close to everything we wanted to see, as well as places to eat and shop. The facilities in the hotel were excellent, the breakfast which was included was great and offered a big choice. And the staff were patient, polite and helpful. We would certainly stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Tasha hotel. It is a very historic building by the famous Ottoman architect Sinan.
The building has been restored beautifully and we felt privileged to be staying there.
It is just a minute or two walk to the central street of Edirne yet it is very quiet and while sitting in the year one feels in the countryside.
The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Türkiye over the years.
The staff are kind and friendly. The gentleman on the front desk (whose name I wish I remembered) was very attentive and friendly, Fatma made amazing food and was very sweet in all her dealings with us, and Aisha was a friendly soul as well, wanting to be of service.
Would love to stay there again!

Don't be fooled by the "low prices". They are not low anymore. If you want to buy a good value for money products go to the large supermarkets. Don't buy cheap items from the local street market. Most of them are not good at all.

The locals, the food, the historical past and the future are also well represented in Edirne. The experience in Edirne is worth the effort to travel.
I particularly liked the agro-food market where the farmers bring their products, a unique experience of aromas, sound and color.

You can find restricted areas for walking because of construction but don't mind it. Keep walking and discover the city.
Be feel yourself lucky if you travel on Fridays or Saturdays and enjoy the Rakı.

The city is very interesting with many historical places, nice oriental shops and restaurants. Our stay was very short, it was on the trip to the summer holiday (sea cost), and it was not enough time to visit all we wanted.
Excellent location to explore the city centre on foot. The historical centre, monuments, the open air market and Friday's bazaar within walking distance. Private parking area. The reception staff (a man and a lady) very kind, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean and warm. Hot water always available. Traditional turkish breakfast.
Overall, it is a highly reccomended accomodation and if we go to Edirne again, we will definitely choose Selimiye Hotel.
"Palmiye Hotel" is very convenient and enough comfortable hotel in the central part of Edirne. The hotel is very close to main shopping center in the town as Erasta Mall. As well close to the hotel there are enough beauty places for lunch, dinner or coffee time. The staff is very kind to the guests. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It is very important that the hotel proposes parking places for the drivers=
The location of Tashan Hotel is perfect. It is a 5-minute walk to the centre of Edirne. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, especially Furkan. When it comes to the rooms, they are not spacious, yet the interior is cool as it is authentic. Interestingly, they have a parking lot, which makes hotel guests calm that their cars are safe. I would definitely visit the hotel again when I come back to Edirne.
This is the second time I choose this hotel during my two-day shopping trips in Edirne. It is not luxurious, the base is old and in need of repair, but it has several advantages that are important to me:
+ It is close to the center.
+ there is a place to park.
+ there is a refrigerator for the purchased food.
+ it is clean and warm + the price is quite favorable
Location is very close to center, just like their first hotel. We visit very often. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is traditional turkish Kahvalti. Parking is no problem, they even offer to park your car if you struggle. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Highly recommend for quick stop or longer vacation.
