You can find restricted areas for walking because of construction but don't mind it. Keep walking and discover the city.
Be feel yourself lucky if you travel on Fridays or Saturdays and enjoy the Rakı.

Great place to wander around…beautiful old houses, friendly people, not too many tourists, interesting mosques and covered markets. Great place to shop for souvenirs and local products. The fried calves liver is a specialty and shouldn’t be missed.
I just completed a 10-day stay at the Margi Hotel in Edirne, Turkey where I’ve had one of the most pleasant times of my life. Delara and ALL the other staff are among the most friendly and helpful people I’ve ever met worldwide. They were always ready to assist with a smile. The room was very comfortable, clean, modern and quiet. Room service was quick and friendly and the huge breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day.

Quiet little hotel outside Edirne: very clean, comfortable bed, warm and cosy. Helpful and nice staff. The room is spacious and well organized, with a kitchenette and tea/coffe maker (and tea and coffee provided by the hosts). Quiet, rural neighborhood. Very good for sleeping one night, but a little far from the city's attractions.

Lovely boutique hotel very close to the centre of Edirne. Check-in was seamless, rooms were spotlessly clean and the buffet-style breakfast in the courtyard provided the perfect way to start the day. Special thanks to Aise at reception for being so helpful at check-out and looking after my taxi.
Very clean with a convenient parking near the center. The AC was working well. Very nice staff, who upgraded us for free to a suite, as our booking was during the weekdays and the hotel wasn't very busy. We visit Edirne occasionally, and I would say that this hotel has best value for your money.
