My husband is from Monastir so he dealt with most of the speaking to and from the owner. The owner was really nice, very friendly and welcoming. Communication was spot on throughout our stay. Apartment was clean and cosy. Only downfall was there was no oven however not a big issue as there was a microwave which we put to good use. There are two large bedrooms, a good sized bathroom with both a shower and a bath. The living room is huge and the kitchen is also a really good size. I'm very familiar with the area, along with my husband and we would say it's a very good area to stay at. There are plenty of coffee shops and great food places to eat literally on your doorstep. The apartment is literally a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Qaraiya beach and a short 10 minute walk to the marina which a must visit for tourists. Overall we are more than happy with our stay. I would personally say it's value for money and I would certainly stay again when I next return to Monastir.

Breakfast was superb in terms of variety and quality. Great location and the building was beautifully renovated and decorated. The owner and the staff who welcomed us were extremely polite and accommodating. Ideally I would have liked to spend more time reading in the internal patio, very airy, full of light and relaxing (potentially a good spot for remote work?!) Would definitely recommend if staying in Monastir.
