I stayed in Old Phuket town, which is the quiet side of the city and my hotel was a walkable distance to most places. I do however wish I could’ve split my stay between Patong and Old Phuket town, to get the whole experience of Phuket.
I enjoyed the Sunday night market, the vibe and food was really amazing. There are so many affordable nice cafes to visit around Old Phuket and sightseeing places.
Really had an amazing time and would definitely come back to explore some more

The Sunday market is brilliant.
The Sunday market is brilliant. Starts at around 4pm and goes on until 8 or 9pm. Phuket old town isn’t a party town and most places shut around 9-10pm.
The architecture is beautiful to see and adds another level of interest.

For lovers of relaxing vacations, Phuket has a lot to offer in terms of beaches, sea life, food and nightlife. It's not as crazy as Bangkok and that is a good thing if you are looking for some r&r, but it's still close to some of the most beautiful views and snorkeling spots in Thailand.

The main attraction here is definitely the Phuket Old Town which is full of colorful and lively structure. It is very aesthetically pleasing to just look at. Everything is so very clean and well-mannered. There are many amazing cafes to explore and spend your time with your partner. Many subtle activities to enjoy.

Here you can feel and see how people leave. Phuket Town and it´s old center are not a party spots but to get the sense of life. With that said, any number of bars and restaurants are available as well everyday amenities like drug stores and shops.
Try the Moo Hong Phuket Style at One Chun Cafe & Restaurant. This dish is savory and full of different spices but not spicy. But as a general rule, if they say any other dish is spicy, it will be very very spicy.
Linen clothes and wide leg pants are cheaper here than in Krabi or Bangkok.
Breakfast was very good, selection of fresh fruit was abundant (and staff checks on your coffee-preferences immediately as you walk into breakfast area). Another plus was that breakfast/restaurant area is practically on the beach, 100% outdoors. The rooms and layout of whole hotel area was nice (almost like a mini-jungle). Tennis courts were rugged, but you could play.
Pools and beach were clean + although the hotel was almost fully booked, there was always room everywhere.
The room was very nice and clean. The sea views from our room were beautiful and we were greeted by the sunrise every morning.
Breakfast in the restaurant was of a very good standard and dinner was equally as nice.
Hotel staff are so accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Extremely clean and comfy room! Nice bed mattress! The hotel is bright and shining clean and the area feels very safe. The staff is very helpful and willing to solve any issue/request. The hotel has a spacious parking with guard and it is located 5-10 min walking from the city center. Next to the hotel you can find lovely massage places, breakfast and fruit & nice local restaurants, even with michelin star. Highly recommended!
It was at the end of this holiday I appreciated this hotel the most. It was amazing, the comfort. Definately the best in the three weeks I spent travelling around Thailand. We couldn’t find a bed and balcony as good as it. Definately our most enjoyable and favourite stay for our trip. Staff were very accommodating and done their best to make our stay worth every second. A bit away from old town phucket, but a taxi is 5/10 mins.
The rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable bed. The staff were very nice and helpful. We extended our stay three nights we liked the hotel so much. It is walking distance from Central Phuket mall which has a grocery store and tons of other food options. Very nice pool area. We paid for the breakfast on the last day and were satisfied with all the options. Grab prices are the same for every beach.
This hotel was a last minute booking on our trip in Thailand. I found it really nice, the room was as spacious as someone needs for holidays and the bed was really comfortable. It is right next to the Phuket old town. In the area Thera are a fewer nice restaurants and cafe's. The staff was helpful and kind to us. They also have laundry room in the hotel which is really helpful.
the malika was amazing we stayed in 5 hotels whilst in Thailand and this was by far the best, the manager and staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the cleaners were spotless, we are planning to go back to the malika next year, everything was perfect, thank you to all the staff at malika for our brilliant time, we will definitely be back
Super friendly and accommodating staff, we arrived early and they already had the room ready for us! The AC worked well, the views from the hotel of the town were great and it was nice and peaceful at night. Close walking distance to many good restaurants and old Phuket town, we would stay here again!
Room was so nice and clean. Location is in the center of the city which is everything is walking distance. I enjoy with a famous local street food along with photoshoot of old town. Hotel itself is really instagrammable. The actual decoration of hotel is same as the ads that you see every angle.
This was probably the best hostel I stayed at in Thailand. Very clean, very nice facilities including air conditioned rooms, comfy beds and outlets next to each bed. There's also a kitchen on the first floor and easy access to Old Phuket Town and its many restaurants. I definitely recommend.
Best hotel bed we got in our 2 week Thailand visit! This hotel was perfect in every way. Was in a quiet corner of Phuket, so no traffic or congestion nearby. Would recommend renting a motorbike to have with you as it is around a 20 minute walk yo the nearest 7-Eleven.

The Hotel was not too far from the Patong beach, and we can take the taxi only 25minutes. The Hotel was in Phuket town, it is very easy to travel around the Phuket town.
The hotel is in a quiet area, but the good beaches are not close to it. I think the best part of the hotel was the pool as it's clean and not many people are using it.
