This place is amazing. The rooms are bigger than expected and we’re perfectly clean. The room had both a fan and AC which was great and a TV with Netflix. The balcony was beautiful with table and chairs, hammock, small sofa and a drying rack. The location is right next to the beach, with a swimming pool and nice restaurant. Guests get a 10% discount on the restaurant and we ate there most nights as the price, setting and quality were perfect. The staff were super helpful booking boat tickets and scooter rental. We had a fantastic time here!

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.
The hotel is on an amazing secluded beach that stretches quite far down and its in a cove shape which is very beautiful- probably the nicest we saw on the island. Theres another hotel down the beach too which gives it a nice vibe with a few other people coming to this restaurant in the evening.

The hotel restaurant on the beach is amazing, we ate there every day! The food is perfect, prices are so so cheap and the menu is huge and they have loads of cocktails available too
The room and its balcony were spacious and the little siesta sofa a very welcome addition. The resort's pool is good and quite large. Mae Haad is a quiet resort village far from the island's action but with good snorkelling. You need a moped really to feel connected and explore from here. Didn't try the resort's cafe since there is always better value and more authentic Thai food away from beachfront areas - instead tried nearby Roots Corner, Wan Yam Kam Restaurant and, up the hill, Ying Ying's Kitchen - all recommended!
I was supposed to stay in this little modern beach house but there has been a little mix up with the calender at booking.com so Kate offered me an even bigger bungalow right at the beach front for the same price 🙏🏻🌺 everything is as super clean, very nice interior, free shampoo and conditioner and lovely porch to enjoy the quiet Chaloklum sunset. Also easy communication with Kate and self check in.

I loved this 4 night getaway! My sea view suite had such spectacular views and I spent a great deal of time on my balcony and by the pool! Raymond and Dar are such wonderful , helpful, friendly people and are perfect being at reception to greet guests. I really liked all my meals I ate at the restaurant ( breakfast and dinner with lovely restaurant staff) I really liked the service of a free taxi shuttle to various beaches.
This is a great place, I had one of the sea facing rooms on the beach which was really nice. Surprisingly, I ate at the restaurant quite a lot as the food was pretty good. There was a nice mix of people. Travel transfer prices were reasonable.
This place is at the quieter end of the Mae Haad beach which is a really nice quiet clean beach. Recommended.
Lovely family run hotel. We stayed in the family room, which was really comfortable with two small children. We loved the food (always freshly prepared) at the restaurant on site. The beach nearby is beautiful, mostly quite relaxed. We used a scooter to get around, with which other beaches, restaurants, etc are easily reachable (within 10-15 minutes).
It was lovely to have our own space and be able to have access to a kitchen since we had been in Thailand a month. Great pool and view. The villa is equipped with lovely decor and a has a TV with Netflix which was nice when you need to chill. Beautiful private beach at the bottom of the hill. Beautiful deck with outside seating.
Great little cozy house! Had a ‘new’ feel to the property which added a touch of luxury to our budget monthly stay in Thailand.

While at Maehaad Guesthouse I got an infection and a very high fever. I messaged the hotel, as I thought it could have been COVID, to ask for an antigens test and they brought it for me and also some over the counter medicine. I'm really grateful.
