We like the location of this property. It's easy to find and access from major streets/roads. The staffs were friendly and polite. Safety and security were great as guests and visitors are required to have a key card to enter the hallways/stairways/elevator(s). There were plenty of available parking spots and most importantly there were a few spots for disable persons.

The best feature is the old town close to the Arts Center...
The best feature is the old town close to the Arts Center with many original wooden houses. The street market is low key, not overtly touristy and showed some local crafts alongside the usual Chiang Mia stuff. The riverside bars and restaurants have good views but the river itself is a disappointment. This ancient city also has many temples.

The Ceramics factories were interesting as were the temples in the city. Then there is the old city wall, railway station , and museum to visit . And a very old house .

Other than Kad Kong Ta Walking Street (Saturday & Sunday...
Other than Kad Kong Ta Walking Street (Saturday & Sunday only), several Wats / Temples and a couple museums there didn’t seem to be a lot to see in town. The better attractions seemed to be 30 minutes or more outside of town. We enjoyed eating at "Which Wat Pastry", it's a bit out of the way but has great food and pastries at very reasonable prices. Almost next door to Which Wat is "Grandma's Cafe", we didn't eat there but enjoyed viewing the owner's car collection directly behind the cafe. If you don't have your own transportation and don't want to do an organized tour hiring a taxi for the day at 1000 baht is a good idea. Be careful of the songthaews, we discovered they don't always know where you want to go even though they tell you they do.

Lampang is a very laid back friendly northern town. Not many western tourist there. Food excellent. Plenty temples to see. Only 1 hour from Chiang Mai. Everything extremely good value. Local people friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the old part of the city.
We stayed in the old part of the city. So much character and lovely old buildings of architectural interest. Good restaurants and coffee shops, the ones we particularly liked were Long Jim's Pizzeria, Riverside Restaurant and Chito Coffee House. Great night markets Especially loved the decorated horse-drawn carriages. Songtaews were easy to get around with standard fare of 20bt.

A typically tourist town, with not many tourists.
Can easy spend a day or two here if interested in tempels and history.
I liked everything about Yellow Tique.
A suggestion to Yellow Tique. The hotel lists three kinds of room: Twin Beds, Double Beds and Suites. In the hotels' description of the rooms, ALL the descriptions for the rooms are identical re size and comfort and facilities. In actuality, the Suite rooms are much larger and have better appointments. I feel that the current descriptions of the three kinds of rooms offered does not do justice to the rooms with Double Beds and the rooms which are Suites.
I have never felt so welcomed in a hotel before! The hospitality is exceptional. The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated. The rooms are very clean + well equipped, modern TV with Netflix etc. Beautiful sunset terrace. I’d go out of my way to visit this hotel again.

This is probably the best resort you can find in Lampang. Of course, it's not a 5-star brand hotel or a resort so you can't expect what you've experienced in big cities. But, if you travel a lot, you will immediately know that you can't find anything better than this place.
This place is absolutely incredible. 10/10 our room/bungalow was bigger than expected, the garden and the pool are an absolute bliss. Is You want to feel peaceful and surrounded by an incredible nature go to Lampang River Lodge. We loved it sooo much ! Thank you so much 🙏❤️
Great big space in the room and big comfortable bed. In a good location, walking distance to museum, restaurants, street art etc. Free water and coffee in reception. Great value for money. Lampang is a nice city to spend a few days in, less touristy and plenty to do
Breakfast was good (no buffet), staff nice and helpful, sober room but for the price not being too demanding.
Funny thing: as they want to keep the hotel clean, you must walk with sleepers. You must leave your shoes outside in a special place.
As a long term traveller in SE Asia this little hotel on the banks of the river in Lampang is an absolute gem. Steeped in history it has charm and ambiance in large hand fulls. Well done for keeping the nod to the past. Great cocktails too!

I've stayed here at least 7 times. Very comfortable and quite hotel. Beds are extremely comfortable. Air-con is provided and the bathroom more than adequate.

Clean, classy, and upscale hotel. The art vibes were definitely interesting. The rooms were super nice and clean and classy. The bar with live music was a very nice touch. Very good furniture accents that gave off good vibes.
A chain business hotel you can find most of the big city in Thailand, the room is clean, staffs is helpful, walkable distant to bus terminal which is the main transportation to get in and off the city.

Location excellent for a walker, like myself. Good paths nearby along the river. Also a walking park. Was grateful that Le Neuf provided a free bicycle for exploring Lampang.
