I love the room and calm beach. It provides everything we need. Full international breakfast. I love that we can snorkel to see fish at the beach (around the rock and under the bridge are so many fishes)

The hotel is right next to the pier where the boats from the mainland will drop you off. The rooms are comfortable and clean and perfect for resting up after exploring the island.
Personally for me the location was perfect, it was like having your own pocket of space on the island and the drives to all of the beaches across the island are beautiful.
The hosts are very hospitable and will make your stay at the island truly wonderful.

As soon as we arrived we felt like old friends with every staff member. The villas are lovely with amazing beds. I had the best sleep I’d had since arriving in Thailand. I could lie in bed and watch the ocean. What else could you ask for? A great breakfast was served each morning and staff organised our motorbikes and ferry tickets back to mainland. A great intimate resort.
Set right next to a beautiful beach of Koh Kood with its stunning views, A-Na-Lay Resort Koh Kood offers comfortable accommodation with free WiFi in all public areas.

The resort is on a beautiful white sand beach that only has 3 resorts on it. A perfect place to relax! There was good snorkeling at either end of the beach. Lots of seating available on the beach and you could always find some shade. Neverland had a bar and restaurant which served good food and down the beach,Rimlays was another very good option. Our favorite was the local family run Thai restaurant about a 5 min walk.. Walk In Homestay, they lso had a little mini mart.
The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful.
If you wanted to explore beyond this beach you would need to rent a scooter, which they had at the resort. You could also rent paddle boards and snorkel gear.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special.
It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.
Located on one of the best beaches on the island. Sea is always deep enough for swimming. Sea often has waves, but they are gentle and fun.
Room is a good size with a decent shower. Cleaned and fresh linen provided every 2 days.
Location is blissfully quiet at night.
Staff are lovely.
Moped hired at resort - 250 to 300b per day - you will need one to explore the island.
Good restaurant on site, and only 10min walk to the shop and Thai restaurant at Walk in Homestay (amazing food and best chicken & cashew I have ever had).
Highly recommend this great accommodation on Koh Kood. Situated in a serene location, deeper into the jungle, away from the busier coastal areas. Each hut has a private entrance, deck, bathroom, fridge and air conditioning. The huts are clean, spacious, and relaxing. I would also recommend the restaurant with the local speciality - pot.
the host is very kind and helpful, we rented scooters form him as well. Perfect place to spend holidays in this stunning island!!!
The location is very good, the beach is quite long and beautiful, and you can see a beautiful sunset every day! Every day has different meals all delicious!
The staff are very patient and responsible, always smiling, and are in a good mood every day here!
For me this is a full-score resort hotel, compared with this price, is really, very, very, very, very, very good!!!
It's very quiet and comfortable place . I'll go again!
The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and with many smaller spots to eat not quite up and running for the high season, we were grateful to have such great food just outside our villa. The resort also has its own scooters you can rent, so it’s super convenient and makes it easy to explore this beautiful island.
Lovely location at the river with free kayaks. Nice and quiet. Close to night market and swimmable waterfall. A small beach 10 minutes walk or paddle away.
Restaurant / lounge area is excellent for afternoon siesta time. Great breakfast with a variety of sweet and savory options, including local and Western foods.
The staff were very helpful, they even gave us a ride to our next hotel.
Best place in Thailand, with a MINUS!!
I score 10 the people working at Soneva. They are very professional, truly dedicated to you, with deep empathy.
I score 10 the food experience. The Chef Chris (French) is very versatile in cooking your very favorite dish.
I score 10 the location. Really private, exclusive, naturally fused in the nature. Facing the best beach in the island.
Shantaa is a really special place for a complete relax and unwind. There are multiple different spaces within the hotel, from the sandy beach on the northern side, which is great for snorkelling, to the swimming pool on the southern side. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurants are brilliant for all meals. Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Probably the best place I've ever stayed in Thailand. Beautiful garden setting, amazing big breakfast included, and a short walk from a tiny soft white sand beach. The rooms are perfect - you can tell they care about the little details. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and have a great outdoor space to relax.
Everage room. Nothing special. Just matras ac and small shelf. No chair no frige. And big holes in the wall in the bathroom so all mosquitos and other bugs can enter the room all the time.
Prices in restaurant more then high. Mango sticky rice 250 bat. I am 2 month in Thailand never see price like that
Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, room cleaned every day, fantastic location, owner made me a surprise birthday cake, we had the best room in the resort, the chef cooked us super meals, we ate in restaurant twice a day. A tremendous experience, hopefully we will return.
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The restaurant at the resort had the best Thai food we've ever eaten. The service was excellent from everyone we encountered. The rooms and scenery were relaxing. One day we would love to return to this beautiful island and resort.
The beach here is an amazing white sand beach and the resort's location is in a good location with a beachside restaurant where you can order drinks and zip at the counter. If you don't mind about the room, here is one of the best beach in Koh Kood for your next holiday.
The location of the resort is slightly off the most interesting part of the island but quiet and close to a pier with shops. The accommodations are comfortable. The staff didn't speak a word of English and the communications was very difficult.
Great location and hosts. Very easy to rent a bike or go out on a canoe. Great seafood restaurant next door and 1 min away from the beach. Perfect place for someone who is looking for an alternative to resorts. +Very friendly pets
Large bungalow with big porch (veranda) completely in nature. King size bed. Kettle, coffee (Nescafe), small hotel room fridge. Helpfull proprietor in Thai language only. Every morning fresh banana's and Nescafe for self service.
